Absolutely!

So, for starters, their friendship is actually more-or-less canon (technically we just know that Severus's friend group included a Rosier, but it's generally accepted that the Rosier in that age group is Evan sooo), however a large chunk of the fandom has lifted Evan out of that friend group to put him in the Skittles instead. Personally, I've decided to leave him in both.

A big question about Severus's involvement with the DEs is how did a poor halfblood boy end up friends with a bunch of rich asshole pureblood supremacists? And my answer is through Evan. In my head, the Rosiers are more chill than a lot of pureblood families. They're not pureblood supremacists, they're magical supremacists. They view all wizards as better than muggles. Although, they also view any association with muggles as being a weakness, and that's what causes their disdain for many muggleborns.

But Severus rejects his muggle side, and fully embraces the wizarding world. And as far as Evan is concerned, that's enough. So, he welcomes Severus into his own circle, and makes sure his friends are at least decent to Severus, even if he can't necessarily get all of them to like him.

Also, I wasn't sure how to transition into this, but it is very important to me that they initially bond over their mutual hatred of Sirius lol. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that.

Anyways, I still don't really have too much on them yet, sooo that's what I've got!
