New hires were never the easiest to acclimate to, it wasn’t so much the issue of training as it was the issue of adjusting to different personalities and work styles. Of course some were easier to train than others, the rarest few who were able to figure out their way around the store with almost no help. Most of the time, though, that was not the case. Today was not one of those rare acceptions to the rule. Cole sifted through the sections they’d instructed Rose to organize and huffed in tired frustration. “Rose! Can you come here for a moment?” He called her over, “Can you explain to me why Three Days Grace is sorted into the Indie Rock section?”

“Please, stop moving so much- yes thank you.” A couple dabs of ointment before wrapping a small bandage around a man’s arm. It wasn’t anything major but still any injury should be taken care of as soon as possible, the man gives a quick thank you and a bow, which Rhea returns. “Of course, may Sothis watch over you.”

He gives a quizzical look as if to ask who or what ‘Sothis’ is but simply shrugs with a nod and runs off. It seemed spreading the word of the church of Seiros was going to take some time . . . As she stands up she catches the figure of Rose in the distance, she seemed fine but it was always better to double check.

Rose had felt a sort of pull to the spot which Elijah had gotten lost, because they were also lost. They had never been to a college before, they had never even lived somewhere this spread out and open wide. It was wonderful, though, because it was all theirs to explore. Rose carried some of their books in order to study, but then they saw Elijah and smiled a bit. They could tell that this person was lost.

“Are you finding your way all right?” they asked, knowing that wasn’t the case, but still trying to give this person their dignity. 

Elijah looked up as Rose appeared, smiling at them. “Hi! I’m actually completely turned around but I figured I’d sit here and enjoy the scenery and eventually someone would find me! And look, you found me! Unless you are lost too...but if that is the case at least we can be stuck together.” He hopped up, sticking his hand out to Rose. “Hi! I’m Eli and I am a faerie and a baker! Or at least I want to be a baker. What’s your name? What are you? Is that rude to ask? I don’t want to be rude, I am just really excited to get to know people!”

ЧТО ТАМ, ПО ТУ СТОРОНУ:

Ну в общем... видели рыжую (на самом деле седую) симпатичную девушку на обложке и с крутой пантерой? Вот и я видел, поэтому и сказал себе, что это отличный, должно быть, комикс, потому что разве можно иначе? И первый номер... не дам мне четкого ответа, можно ли. Для меня заведомо достаточно, если серия будет милой и умеренно хорошей, хотя сверх этого она уже накидывает немного дарк фэнтези, убийства детей за кадром и злодейку, типичную злую чародейку, которая выглядит, словно только что из порнокомикса, даже секс-рабы при ней. Вводный первый номер оставляет приятные ощущения, хоть и не дает никакой уверености в том, какой серия будет дальше. Я даже не знаю, лимитка ли это или онгоинг. Но как я и сказал, я жду, что она просто будет приятной и в таком случае я буду готов ее переводить сколько угодно, пока не надоест (или чп какое). Рисунок весьма и весьма нравится (кстати, за цвет отвечает Триона Фаррелл, она же красила "Ткачей", например). Сеттинг, хоть я и не считаю себя поклонником фэнтези, достаточно интересный, не вычурный и, я бы сказал, не свех-супербанальный, но это не точно. Единственная претензия к главной героине. Ведет она себя и говорит так, будто ей 10-14 лет, а выглядит на 18+, и я не знаю, субъективное ли это мое ощущение или как раз из-за элементов дарк фэнтези стремно было делать главную героиню малолеткой, ведь в дарк фэнтези за каждым углом и изнасиловать могут (сука, сдохни, Гриффит). И на такой позитивной ноте: приятного чтения.
