Rosbian [Ross-bee-in] is a term exclusively for AFAB transmasculine people with qualities considered feminine in western society. The qualities can be visually, socially, or morally feminine.

Flag

The Original Rosbian Flag, or the Thorn Rosbian Flag, was designed by me on the 24th of December, 2020 on the LGBTA wiki. The cyan represents masculine genders and masculinity, the darker cyan stands for non-conforming men, the light pink is for femininity, and the hot pink is for non-conforming masculinity. The mars symbol is for manhood.

Flag ID

The Rosbian Flag Redesign, or the Aura Rosbian Flag, was created by me as a redesign of the original flag. The teal represents MIN genders and manhood, the turquoise represents masculinity, the off white represents gender and gender non-conformity, the light salmon represents femininity, and the pink represents non-conforming femininity.

History

I created the term on the LGBTA+ wiki on the account RoseWatera. It was coined on the 24th of December 2020 for transmasculine individuals who express femininity, it was coined for the reason of many of them getting harassed, fake-claimed, are afraid of coming out as transgender or coming to terms with their identity due to being too feminine, and many other reasons. The page was the original source of the coining.

The name of the identity was based on the term 'rosboy' which is a term/gender identity for a feminine boy.

History

I created the term on the LGBTA+ wiki on my account RoseWatera on the 24th of December 2020 for transmasc individuals who express femininity for the reason of many of them getting hated on, fake-claimed, are afraid of coming out as trans/coming to terms with their identity due to being too feminine, and many other reasons. The page I created on the term was the original resource of the term but I am posting this as an additional source.

Some Additional Information

The term isn't just exclusive to binary trans men, it also includes paraboys, demiboys, and other identities of the sort. Hence, why I used transmasc instead of transmen.

It falls under the umbrellas Gender Non-Conforming, Name Non-Conforming, Pronoun Non-Conforming, and any other types of Non-Conformity.
