Thank god Ruby had put down the “get in comfy clothes and put your hair up” mandate as soon as Rory asked her to come over. She was not about to look cute on her first day off in almost a month. Ruby personally never understood relationships between a mother and her kid, in her head it was all fantasized or things she had seen on movies, she couldn’t pretend to completely understand what Ian and his mom were dealing with; however, she knew exactly how it was effecting Rory and she didn’t like it. Rory was one of the best people she had met since moving to Ashwood and anyone who was out to make her upset was enemy number 1 in Ruby’s mind. She grabbed another bottle of tequila -just incase- and made the short drive over to what used to be Ian’s house. She wasn’t quite sure if Ian was up for having a drunk Ruby and Rory on his hands for the night, but she decided that wasn’t her problem and knocked on the door, “RORY LET ME IN IT’S COLD AND I HAVE TEQUILA BUT I CAN’T DRINK IF I FREEZE TO DEATH!”
