For a dance on the rope you need a lot of practise, even the most talented dancer need to. Elana had a long and big break, she is a bit rusty, but she is motivated to work hard and finally be good enough again to show off her skills to the excited audience of the circus.
Elana is a character I added in the most recent rewrite of the storyline (which I started in.. 2016?), she is Samuel’s foster mother for quite some years until she vanishes without any mention and nobody ever talks about her ever again. She is replaced by Saramir later who has to take care of Samuel then. Elana is a mysterious woman, no one ever know where she came from. She is Loreley’s partner, but both aren’t seen in public together, it’s like a secret they both keep.
