Happy Valentine's Day! 💘
I have a PSA
This is a great app, its called Roost, its a chat app that uses virtual carrier pidgeons to send the messages back and forth
Theres a map so you can see where theyre going
You can name the birds whatever you like and the birds arent just pidgeons, theres all kinds of birds, even emus and penguins! They also have snails!
You can add friends via their username and theres also a random penpal feature which can be really really fun!
One of my favorite things I’ve been using this app for is sending silly messages back and forth with my sibling like such:
Consider downloading roost. It’s so cute y’all
Join the waitlist for Roost, the messaging app where birds travel in real-time based on distance.

A Pixel Daily from X, 08/02/24 Roost Prompt
Okay on Threads I stumbled across this ridiculously cute little app called Roost where you can send letters to pen pals via carrier pigeons.
The best thing is? The speed of the mail depends on which bird you add to your flock. There are even snails.
I desperately want to send ridiculous messages to people and make them wait hours or even days to open them.
If you're on Roost and want to be friends - my username is Apfelkernchen.
Here's a link to their official website: https://roostsocial.app/
