ICE isn't the gestapo––it's deeply American. Recognizing our country's flaws and how history has brought us here will help us move forward. Once we do that, we need to bring that same energy to build what we know can be a better world that reflects our values.

Okay on Threads I stumbled across this ridiculously cute little app called Roost where you can send letters to pen pals via carrier pigeons.
The best thing is? The speed of the mail depends on which bird you add to your flock. There are even snails.
I desperately want to send ridiculous messages to people and make them wait hours or even days to open them.
If you're on Roost and want to be friends - my username is Apfelkernchen.
Here's a link to their official website: https://roostsocial.app/
It’s always exciting to find a Great Horned Owl 🦉 tucked into the window of an abandoned building, but the truth is, these masters of surprise can pop up just about anywhere. This gorgeous owl surprised Lisa while roosting inside a hollowed out section of an old wooden bridge pillar. She's not sure which one of them was more surprised to see the other! 😱
👉 Who else scans every abandoned structure hoping to spot an owl? 👀
