So here is my little piece for the @rookermas festivities. This is for @lioness--hart and the prompt was fluff or angst, Yondu, and could be a reader insert. I havenât done a reader insert before, so I decided to take on the challenge. I had a few ideas in my head, but after seeing that Kraglin and Peter âalice cooperâ gif floating around, I came up with an idea and kind of ran with it. So, here it is, little angst and fluff rolled into one with the Captain. I had fun writing it, hope you like it too, @lioness--hart  Happy Holidays (and Rookermas!)!!
âMornin.â The blue Centaurian whispered in your ear as he got up from the bed. The deep, husky voice sent a shiver through your body as your senses awakened.
âMmm.. Morning.â You mumbled as you turned onto your side and buried yourself deeper into the sheets, not willing to surrender to the day ahead. You peaked one eye open as you heard Yondu shuffle around the room collecting his clothes. Through your half opened eye, you watched as his broad body bent down to grab his shirt off the floor, the light crisscrossed markings all over his back, contrasting with the cool tone of his blue skin. As the muscles in his arms flexed pulling his shirt over his body, your mind flashed with images of the night before when those arms were wrapped tightly around your waist. You let out a soft whine before you could stop yourself. Yondu responded with a gravelly chuckle when he heard.
âI knows ya watchin me.â He turned around with one corner of his mouth turned upwards before he made his way back to you. He bent down and placed a soft, quick kiss to your lips before slipping out of the room. You closed your eyes again when he left, trying to quiet the thoughts that wracked your brain each time you were with him. He was always in such a hurry to leave after spending the night with you. The two of you werenât exactly anything official, preferring to keep whatever this was casual. You had told yourself when it all started that you were okay with that. You and Yondu were both lonely and a little drunk the first time you slept together, but then, without the liquid courage, one night turned into two, and then three, and then four.
And now, here you were, lying in bed telling yourself that you didn't want anything more, but that was a complete lie. The truth was you wanted more, a lot more. The nights you two shared together, you found yourself opening up more to the Ravager Captain than anyone else you had met in the galaxy since you arrived, or rather, were abducted and sold to a nasty hoard of aliens three years ago. It was Yondu who noticed you, while the Ravagers robbed your master blind, wrists and ankles bloodied, you were chained to the ground. With one sharp whistle from his mouth, a golden arrow flew across the room, leaving a trail of red light behind it, and through the center of the green creature keeping guard. You boarded the Eclector uneasy and unsure of your future, but somehow made a place for yourself amongst the Ravagers. Â Â

After a couple more minutes of laziness, you readied yourself for another day. You had found yourself useful as one of the M-ship mechanics. Fixing things had become second nature to you and you found solace below deck in the empty workshop. You had just finished repairing one of the engines that had busted on the last raid, when the horn that sounded for lunch blared throughout the ship. Making your way through the kitchen, you saw Kraglin and Tullk sitting at one of the tables and joined them.
âNo, no ya wrong. Thereâs eight, I remember!â Kraglin argued.
âNo, thereâs nine! Thereâs always been nine,â Tullk countered back. It was typical to walk in on an argument between the two.
âWhat are you two talking about?â you questioned.
âThe elk.â Kraglin acknowledged you as you sat next to him, opposite Tullk.
âElk?â
âYa know, the flyin elk.â You furrowed your brows at the Xandarian.
âThe elk from Father, uh, Christmas? Yeah Christmas,â added Tullk. A small smile formed on your face when it finally dawned on you what the two ridiculous men were arguing about.
âYeah (y/n). Youâre Terran, ya should know. How many elk are there?â asked Kraglin. You let out a giggle before composing yourself to settle the debate.
âWell first, theyâre reindeer, not elk. And second, thereâs,â you paused as the familiar tunes and stories ran through your brain, still able to recall them after all these years. âEight. Santa, or Father Christmas, has eight reindeer.â
âHah!â Kraglin yelled while slamming both fists on the table, causing your drink to spill over on its side.
âNo! No! What âbout the other one? Peter always mentioned another, â Tullk tapped the side of his head with his fingers. âUh...Ralph!â
âRudolph?â
âThatâs it!â
âUh, well,â you actually paused to think about it. Did Rudolph count as one of Santaâs reindeer? Were you really arguing with two aliens about made up Terran legends and songs? Before you could explain your theory, a familiar voice interrupted the three of you.
âThe hell yaâll arguin âbout?â Yondu growled as he approached, one hand landing on the table, the other placed on the back of your chair. You felt a warm sensation travel through your body as Yondu subtly rubbed his thumb up and down your back. Â
âOh, uh nothin, nothin Capân.â The two Ravagers muttered over themselves as they realized lunch break was over and everyone else had returned to their work. Yondu let out a chuckle as Kraglin and Tullk gathered their things and scrambled out of the kitchen.
âHey now! We were in the middle of an important discussion about Santa and his reindeer,â you said as you gathered up the remaining dishes to place in the bin.
âSanta? That some Terran thing?â Yondu asked, keeping close pace to you.
âSanta? Christmas? I thought they said Peter used to talk about it?â Yondu scratched at his beard as he thought about it a little more.
âThat the thing with the trinkets in the trees?â
âMmhm.â You smiled as you watched the older Centaurianâs red eyes get wider at the mention of his beloved trinkets.
Yondu walked you all the way back down to the workshop, his hand brushed against yours every now and then as it swayed back and forth. You knew what he was doing, and it drove you mad. The constant touches throughout the day, occasional whispers in your ear of what plans he had for you that night, his eyes always on you when the Ravagers would group together for meetings. It was the accumulation of all these things that kept your brain running. This had to be something more, right? All the little affections throughout the day wasnât casual, was it? Was it just you? Â
When you reached the secluded workshop, Yondu abruptly grabbed you by the waist, causing the thoughts in your head to cease momentarily. He walked you back to the wall before smiling, his ragged teeth glinting from the lights overhead. Leaning down, he placed his lips on yours. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you pulled him closer and parted your lips to deepen the kiss. You moaned as Yonduâs hands worked their way underneath your shirt, his fingers running small circles around your bare flesh. He smiled into the kiss as he moved from your lips to your neck, nipping and sucking at the sensitive flesh.
You fought with yourself to gain control of your thoughts. âBetter save some of that for tonight.â
Yondu paused at your statement. Leaning back he shifted his footing, avoiding your gaze before he spoke.
âUh, I canât tonight baby. Somethin kinda came up,â his red eyes finally connected with yours. You felt a slight pang in your chest as the words left his lips.
âOh, okay,â you swallowed the lump in your throat at Yonduâs rejection, trying your best to subdue the emotions that ran through you. Spending the night with him had just become part of your routine, a little hitch like this was bound to happen. One of Yonduâs hands cupped your cheek, his thumb stroking over your soft skin as he gave you a reassuring smile. You smiled in return, telling yourself it was nothing more than a one-off thing. Â
****
As the weeks passed, your nights with Yondu became few and far between. Almost every other day he came up with an excuse as to why he couldnât be with you that night. You tried your best to just brush it off. The crew seemed to be getting more assignments as the year drew to a close, and Yondu was too busy focusing on the potential units. Â
You found yourself wandering the halls of the Eclector late one evening while unable to sleep. Quietly walking in your socks, you saw Kraglin down the hall at the end of the ship. Staring out the window into the multicolored star field, he jumped when you made your presence known.
âWhatcha doin?â You asked, turning to look out the window to see what had transfixed him. You saw in the distance one the M-ships heading away from the Eclector towards the nearest jump point.
âWhoâs in that?â You followed up when the Xandarian didnât answer your first question.
âThe Capân.â
âYondu?â Flabbergasted, you asked Kraglin what Yondu was doing. He claimed he didnât know, heâd just been getting the ship ready for him the last couple of weeks. You furrowed your brows at the new information and walked back to your quarters in a slight daze. Where was he sneaking off to so late? You went back to your bed, unable to push the thoughts out of your mind. Sneaking out in the middle of the night, not telling anyone where he was going on these trips. Whatever the answer was, it wasnât good.
For the next couple of days you didnât say anything, partially because of your anger and partially because you didnât know how to bring it up without sounding like you were accusing Yondu of something. Meanwhile, the Centaurian went about his business as usual, settling arguments among his crew and spearheading the jobs they were getting, all while still sneaking off to be with you when he could. It was slowly becoming too much for you.
Finding yourself once again in bed and unable to sleep, your curiosity got the better of you and you headed down to the workshop. Spotting the M-ship you had seen Yondu sneak out on, you entered the metal craft and sat in the pilot chair. Turning on the data pad, you pulled up the coordinates and entered the backdoor code to break into the secured information. Bringing up the coordinates history, your heart dropped as you scrolled through the information.
Contraxia.
Yondu had been sneaking off to Contraxia for the last month. Your heart felt like it had been clawed and ripped to shreds. You threw the pad across the room, and sunk into the pilotâs chair, tears forming in your eyes. How could you be so stupid? He didnât want you, at least not as much as you wanted him. All the nights you had spent together sharing yourself with him, meant nothing. Why would he entangle himself with you, when he could have a lovebot? Letting the tears fall freely, you stayed in the confines of the M-ship until your sadness passed and turned to anger.
You made your way up the levels of Eclector until you reached Yonduâs corridor. Forming your hand into a fist, you banged on the doors of room, hoping that he was there.
âThe hell is goin on?â he yelled as he appeared in the doorway in just his pants. His red eyes annoyed and angry at whoever was just banging the door this late at night. When his brain finally caught up with his mouth, Yondu looked down at you, his face growing concerned seeing your flushed, tear stained one.
â(Y/n), baby whatâs wrong?â His hand cupping your cheek, you pursed your lips and closed your eyes. You werenât going to let him fool you again. You took a deep breath before moving your head away from his warm hand, and walking into his room. Confused by your actions, Yondu dropped his raised hand and sighed as he turned around to face you.
âYa gonna tell me what this is all âbout?â he asked. You opened your mouth to speak, but nothing came out. Standing in front of Yondu, your head was spinning, you didnât even know where to begin. Finding the only words that came to you, you spat out.
âDo you love me?â
âWhat?â His mouth hung open at your question. Annoyed that he wasnât giving an answer, you gave up.
âYa know what, forget it. Doesnât matter, not like you care anyway,â you went to walk out of the room, when Yondu grabbed you by the wrist.
âThe hell is that suppose ta mean?â
âIt means why donât you cozy up to one of your lovebots!â you yelled and yanked your wrist from his grasp.
âWhat?â
âI know youâve been sneaking off to Contraxia!â Yondu rubbed a hand on the back of his neck as it dawned on him what you were thinking.
âHow in the hell-â he stopped himself before he said anything he would regret.
âListen, (y/n), it ainât what ya think,â you scoffed at his reply, which only angered the Centaurian. âIâm tellin ya the truth!â
âYeah, whatever!â you yelled walking out of the door. You werenât going to listen to his excuses anymore, you were done. You could hear Yonduâs growls of anger as you walked down the hallway. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
****
Too exhausted from the night before, you slept well into the afternoon the next day, emerging when you felt the familiar shift and thud of the spacecraft docking. Slipping on fresh clothes, you ran into Kraglin as you made your way down the hall. Smiling at your friend, you asked where you had landed for the night.
âContraxia! Capân is givin us the night off!â He excitedly responded before excusing himself. Your face fell as he walked past you. What the hell was Yondu trying to do to you?Â
Looking out the window at the snow covered planet, you could make out some of your fellow Ravagers heading towards the Iron Lotus, no doubt they would be enjoying their evening. You were just about to turn away and head back to your room, when you noticed the familiar red fin appear from below and pause. Yondu gazed back at the Eclector, and by reaction, you stepped away from the window. When he turned back around, you moved forward again, watching as he made his way towards the brightly lit buildings. You felt you body sink as he neared the Iron Lotus, just waiting for him to enter. But he didnât. Yondu walked right by the neon lights and down the path next to it. Your curiosity was going to get you in severe trouble one day.Â
Quickly you bolted down the Eclector, the snow crunching beneath your feet as you moved at a brisk pace. Yonduâs footprints visible in the snow, you followed them around the bend in the path and up the little hill. When you reached the peak, you let out a gasp. Down the hill, far away from the industrial center of the planet, stood around five tall trees. Covered in a fresh snowfall, they were draped in colorful lights that lit up the small valley in a soft glow. The most beautiful reds, greens, purples, and blues you had ever seen. Noticing a twinkle coming from the center tree, you slowly walked down the hill towards it. Hanging off the branches were numerous, and random, trinkets. A smile formed on your lips as you recognized the jeweled frog.
âI knows ya was watching me,â the husky voice whispered in your ear from behind. You quickly turned around to face the blue alien. The two of you stared into each other's eyes for what felt like a lifetime before you spoke up.
âOh Yondu! IâmâŚ.Iâm so sorry!â You bursted out as tears began forming in your eyes again and you wrapped your arms around him tightly. He sighed in your embrace and closed his arms around you.
âItâs alright baby,â he assured you, rubbing his hands up and down your back. âIâm sorry too. I shoulda told ya last night, but I wanted ta surprise ya.â
You leaned away to look him. âOh, believe me. I am,â you laughed out, while sniffing your nose.
Yondu slid one of his hands from your back to tuck the strand of hair, that had stuck to your face, behind your ear. He then cupped both hands to your cheeks, using his thumbs to wipe away the rest of your tears.
âI do love ya, (y/n). Ya know that, right? I loved ya the moment I saw ya. The moment ya boarded my ship. The moment of that first night together. Just took me awhile to admit it to mahself.â He looked down and away from you at his confession, guilt written all over his face.
âHey,â you said softly, nudging him to look back towards you. âI love you too.â
That wonderful crooked grin appeared on Yonduâs face at your words, and he pulled you back into him, placing a long, deep kiss to your lips. Definitely the best Christmas present you had ever received, you thought, before something came across your mind. Reluctantly, you broke your lips from his.
âWhat about earlier? You acted like you had no idea about Christmas?â
Yondu chuckled at your question. âHad to keep up the act. Always knew âbout it. That damn kid never stopped pestering me âbout it for twelve years!â
Letting go of you, he fumbled with the pockets of his duster. âAlmost forgot, I found this at one of the markets,â Yonduâs hand emerged with a glass figurine of a reindeer, the tip of its nose painted red. âYour own Ralph the Reindeer!â he beamed. You took the figure from his hands, hiding your laughter behind a bright smile.
Well Iâm veeery late (life took over), but hereâs my Merle x Reader fic for @rookermas! I wrote this for the wonderful @multi-villain-imagines. I hope you like it, Tess! And Iâm so sorry about the wait! Â
(And in case youâre confused about who the hell this is, my main blog is @babelincolns)
Merle drummed his fingers against the steering wheel, deep in thought. He had no idea what to get you for Christmas. He wasnât usually the type to give gifts, but you were his girl. You were special and he wanted to get you something that would make you smile. Though he couldn't always afford it, he loved showering you with gifts. But what to get you? Books? Maybe. You definitely loved to read, but he got you a stack of books a couple weeks ago. Jewelry? Nah, youâd never been one to wear a lot of jewelry.
Lost in his thoughts, Merle almost missed the dull grey brick building as he drove by in his truck. But as he passed the building, the perfect idea popped into his head. With a screech of the tires, he spun the truck back around towards the grey building.
A couple hours later, the door swung open as Merle entered his trailer.
"Y/N? Baby?" he called out as he closed the door and set his keys down on the counter. Although you had a nice apartment on the other side of town, you spent most of your time in his trailer. Merle glanced down at his watch. 5:30 p.m. That meant you were no doubt taking a nap somewhere. You weren't resting on the couch or the old armchair in the living room, so Merle made his way to the bedroom. He opened the door slowly, careful not to make too much noise. A small grin spread on his face when he saw you curled up in his bed, the blankets covering all but your head. Merle moved over to the bed, picked up your gift, and placed it on the bed next to you.
Your eyelids fluttered as you began to drift out of sleep. A quiet voice saying your name had brought you out of your slumber and you smiled at the sound of your boyfriend. Before you opened your eyes, a giant, wet tongue licked your cheek. Your eyes flew open and you squealed at the sight in front of you.
"Oh my God! A puppy!" you exclaimed as you sat up, the covers of Merleâs bed falling off you. A grey pit bull stood on the bed next to you with his tail wagging furiously.
"Merry Christmas, baby," Merle said as the dog continued to lick your face as you hugged it to your chest.
"I can't believe you got me a puppy!â you smiled and pressed a quick kiss to Merleâs lips. âGirl or boy? I need to name it!"
Merle laughed and sat down on the bed next to you, reaching out to pat the dog on the head. "Girl, he ain't no puppy. He's 'bout two years old."
"Tell me all about him. You adopted him, right?" You questioned as the dog nestled even closer to you, grateful for the affection.
Merle nodded. "Yeah, I know you don't like any of them puppy mills or breeders. He's a rescue. Supposed to be put down today."
You hugged the dog tighter. "Oh, poor baby."
"He's been at the shelter for a few months now. Somebody dumped him on the side of the road. Lucky he wasn't hit by a car."
The dog looked up at you, love already present in his bright blue eyes.
You smiled. "I thought of a name for him."
  "Oh, really? What?"
  "Blue."
Merle huffed out a laugh. "Creative."
"Shut up!" you said with a grin and playfully shoved him. "You both have the same gorgeous blue eyes."
  "Mine are prettier though."
"Debatable,â you said with a shrug.
"You better watch it, girl, or I'm gonna get jealous," Merle said and kissed your forehead. "Now go get dressed and we'll take him to that pet store on Main Street. Boy needs a bed and shit."
The next evening, you stormed into Merleâs trailer, Blue following close at your heels.
âI am beyond pissed right now, Merle,â you fumed as you slammed the door behind you.
Merle glanced up from the book he was reading with a pout. âWhatâd I do?â
You smirked at his response, but the anger still burned inside you. âSurprisingly, this time itâs nothing you did.â
âWell, if I ainât in trouble then câmere and tell me about it,â he said, patting his lap and dropping his book on the table beside him.
You moved over to the armchair and sat on his lap and quickly settled into his strong arms. As Merle started to run his fingers through your hair while you leaned against him, the anger began to dissipate. If it were possible, you could sit forever in his lap with his arms around you. There was nowhere else that felt more like home.
âYou ready to talk about it?â Merle questioned after a few minutes of silence.
âMy apartment complex wonât let me keep Blue,â you sniffled as you looked at the dog curled up next to Merleâs feet. âApparently pit bulls are a âdangerous breedâ and not allowed.â
âThatâs bullshit,â Merle said and you felt him frown against your cheek.
You picked at the duct tape that covered a large tear in the armchairâs fabric. "Merle, I don't know what to do. I don't want to give him back and I've checked and there aren't any apartments around that will let tenants have pit bulls. It's so unfair!â
You took a couple deep breaths and fought back the tears that threatened to spill down your face.
âYou wanna move in with me?â Merle asked.
You sat up with wide eyes. âAre you serious?â
âYeah, baby. Youâre here more than that apartment anyway. And I love waking up with you in my bed,â Merle responded with a glint of mischief in his eyes.
You smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. âWell, I definitely like waking up in your bed.â
  âWanna make it our bed?â
The smile on your face grew wider. Just the thought of moving in with Merle was making you giddy. You could see him even more, wake up with him every morning, and keep Blue? It was perfect â a dream come true.
  You nodded. âDefinitely.â
He pressed a soft, lingering kiss to your lips and smiled. âThen how âbout we go christen it?â
The sun rose the next morning with Merle's head cushioned on your stomach and Blue curled against your opposite side. Your fingers slowly carded through Merle's short curls as he quietly snored. It was everything you could possibly want. A smile graced your face once again and your heart swelled with love. You were home.

So, for @rookermas, I got to write a reader insert for @loveisyondublue.
I hope you enjoy it and Happy Holidays!
Contains: Language, fluff
YonduxShyReader
Christmas was never really celebrated among the Ravagers. There was never time to celebrate good will, peace, and love. That would make the ravagers soft, and the ravagers are not soft. It wasnât until they abducted little Peter Quill that Christmas was put into consideration. The reader, another Terran, decides to help Peter get the elector decorated and festive for the holidays to help cheer him up. Yondu decides to make it a perfect opportunity to tell the reader how he truly feels about them.
 --
Itâs been a rough couple of weeks on the elector for Peter; his mom passing away, being captured by aliens who threaten to eat him every waking moment, the only one who is truly nice to him is a ravager who is also a Terran. Hopefully, with Christmas around the corner, Peter can be treated nicer and with more respect than he has in the past. Well, thatâs what he thinks. What he doesnât know is that most ravagers donât know what Christmas is. And they sure as hell not gonna start celebrating a holiday that promotes joy and happiness. Thatâs not up to ravager code, thatâll make you soft.
That wasnât until you got a great idea for Peter; youâd wait until everybody is asleep, you get out the cheap lights and things you wouldnât consider ornaments (but they would work) from Xandar to decorate the elector, you bought a present for everybody from âSantaâ, and mistletoeâŚ...MistletoeâŚ...You thought to yourself. You always had a crush on the captain; with his blue skin, red eyes, cheesy yet adorable smirk, you are head over heels for Yondu. You hold the mistletoe close to your chest and, without knowing, somebody taps you on the shoulder. You squeak and turn around and, sure enough, it was him. Heâs so handsomeâŚ
âHey, Y/N. Ya donât mind if ya help Kraglin with repairinâ one of the control panels? Taserface spilled somethinâ on dere and it keeps twitchinâ and sparkinâ like hell!â You were always his go-to for technical trouble, thatâs how you got to be a ravager in the first place. âY-Yes sirâŚ.â You replied softly, quickly shoving the mistletoe in your pocket. As soon as he left, you rushed over to help Kraglin. He was fumbling with some wires when you showed up. âHey, thank flark youâre here! I canât get the damn thing to start up again!â You sighed and sat down besides him to fix what he made worse. You enjoy being around Kraglin, but he doesnât know a thing about technical wiring. He put the blue wire cable in the red socket! We would be blown to bits if it was left there!
 --
You were about to get ready to decorate when you find little Peter still awake and in his pajamas. âWhatâre you doing out of your bunk, Quill?â He looked up at you and smiled. âHey, Y/N! Iâm waiting for Santa Claus!â He sits by one of the windows of the ship, âEvery year, me and my mom stay up and wait for Santa. I would always fall asleep, but there would always be tons of presents!â His smile fades, âI hope he doesnât mind that we donât have a tree. Hey, do you think Santa has a spaceship?â You thought long and hard on this one; do you keep with the code and threaten to eat him? Do you tell him the truth about Santa? Then you remember the first time you met him and how scared and alone he felt. You were the only one who was really nice to Peter, even if the others called you soft. âYou know what, Peter? I think he does have a ship. I thought I saw a red and white ship flying near the milky way last week. It had some sleigh bells jingling on the end of it, too!â His little face glowed in excitement and he rushed over to hug you. âWanna stay up with me and watch for the ship?â You looked at him and chuckled, âI think its best for you to head back to your bunk before Yondu wakes up and eats ya~â
 --
You know it was kinda mean to do that to Peter, but if you didnât, he wouldnât leave for his bunk and your little plan would be foiled. And, with that, you started decorating. From converting one of the pipelines into a Christmas Tree, hanging Christmas lights all over the ceiling, hanging wreaths on the door to the captainâs quarters, not bad for a Ravagers first Christmas.
While you were placing the presents under the âtreeâ, you heard footsteps coming from one of the halls. Panicking, you hid in one of the doorways. Suddenly, you saw Yondu, shirtless and still a little bit buzzed, stumbling and grumbling something about needing another beer. He noticed something was different because the elector is a little brighter than usual. He cautiously poked the lights, sniffed one of the wreaths, he even ate some of it only to choke on some needles. You rushed over to give him a nice whap! on the back and all of the needles that was in his system fell onto the floor. Wheezing and gasping, he looked up at you with those tired, red eyes of his you adored so.
âWhat the fuck is this?!â he shouted while you tried to calm him down, âDat green thing almost killed me! When I find out who done this to me, theyâre gettinâ the airlock!â As he was about to head over, you grabbed onto his arm and squeezed. âYondu, it was me.â You managed to squeak out, âI did this.â He looked shocked but mostly puzzled, and he managed to calm down a little. âYou did this?â You nodded, âWhy?â âItâs for Peter. Heâs been having a terrible 5 weeks up here and weâre not any help! All we do is scare him and threaten to eat him, I want to make sure that he gets one day where he doesnât have to worry about his safety and where he can enjoy himself. Is it that bad?â Yondu opened his mouth, about to say something but quickly clammed it shut. He hugged you and you jumped, out of shock and confusion.
âLook, Y/N. Iâm sorry I yelled before at yaâŚâ He looked at you and smirked, âI guess I can be a dick when Iâm sober, huh?â You both laughed a bit. âSo, is this a Terran thing? All of these lights and green things?â You nodded and smiled. âYup, itâs called Christmas. And itâs, what you can call, a somewhat soft holidayâ you replied and reached for the crumpled-up mistletoe in your pockets. âAnd, in this holiday, one of the traditions is raising this over your head and kissing the person under itâŚâ Your smile faded, âbut, its all ruined anyway.â You were about to chuck it but Yondu grabbed it before you could. âWhyâd you need a piece of grass to permit ya to kiss someone?â He got a little closer, âIâd rather do it the olâ fashioned way.â He leaned in towards you and gently pressed his lips against yours. Your heart was going 100 miles a second, butterflies were going off in your stomach, and your whole body froze. As soon as you parted lips, you kept staring in each otherâs eyes. âYou just made my Christmas wish come true, CaptainâŚâ You smiled and kissed him on the cheek, âMerry Christmas.â
 --
âGUYS, WAKE UP! SANTA CAME! SANTA CAME!â All around the Elector, Peter kept screaming and jumping for joy. âSANTA CAME! HE FLEW BY IN HIS SPACESHIP!â You were jostled awake from the screaming when you heard someone groaning under you. âIâm gonna eat dat damn TerranâŚâ Yondu growled under his breath, you relaxed back into his chest. âWhy donât you give him this? For me? I can give you your present early~â He smirked and opened his eyes to look into yours, âYou sure know how to please yer captain, darlinâ.â He smirked and kisses you, âMerry Christmas, Y/N.â You kiss him back and grin. âMerry Christmas, Yondu.â
