Ronnie isn’t particularly outwardly emotional. She doesn’t care for people (especially strangers or acquaintances) to know what she’s thinking and how she’s feeling. That leads into the other half of the answer — control. She prefers to project calm, competent confidence. Nobody needs to know anything else beyond that.

Bonus answer: she’s one of those wealthy people who turns their nose up at tacky, vulgar displays of wealth. She would’ve had a field day with Bezos’ Venice wedding.

Lyra lifts the paper cup to her lips again, eyes flitting back to the woman with platinum hair. Hm. An unexpected development. Her mouth quirks. How intriguing.

She is dressed entirely in black, wrapped in it, cloaked in it. Someone who does not want to attract undue attention. Someone who wants to disappear.

Well. She can relate to one of those, at least.

This sort doesn’t miss much. Best to meet her head-on, show her hand directly. A hand, in any case.

19. They both want to do it more often, but their size difference prevents them usually. (Ombra is 5’9 and Quan Chi is 6’8) However, Ombra prefers to wear his shirts, pajamas and sweaters around the house where she doesn’t have to care about being seen in a very messy look. And well, it softens his whole heart when he sees her like that that he just wants to sit down and stare at her for the entire day.

20. When their relationship was still young, Quan Chi was oblivious to comforting methods. He was so unfamiliar to dealing with a human’s “sadness”. But he’s a fast learner. As their relationship developed his hidden comforting talents also blossomed. He talks to her and listens to everything she says. He lets her know that he’s available at any time. He cooks her favorite dishes. (Wow!) And he even cancels his plans and meetings if things are serious.

To Ombra, Quan Chi is one of the few people she actually care to comfort, and since the very beginning she knew exactly how to do that. However, Quan Chi used to refuse it, denying his unwell mind and persisting on this fact that he doesn’t need to get soft. It took her many stressful nighta and mind consuming conversations to convince him that he should bring down his walls when they’re together. And this has been quite effective. She reads to him, cuddles with him, does a skin care routine with him, and talks to him until he wants.

Stillness: How does your OC act while still? Are they fidgety? Do they have any common gestures or tics? Does their clothing affect how they hold themselves while at rest?

Charlie tends to fidget with her hands and bounce her legs when she’s sitting still for too long or just plain nervous. In her mind, if she’s at rest for too long, there’s obviously something wrong and then her mind starts to wander and then she can’t stop herself from becoming antsy. She’s a big lip biter too. Instinctively she just chews on her lips. And not even from stress! Just sometimes from being too lost in her daydreams. But, I wouldn’t say her clothing really affects anything. Though, she does have a tendency to play with the hem of her dresses, a bad habit she tries to break after pulling one too many times at a loose thread.
