The left is my attempt at blackbox's (official artist for the Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint novel) style, both drawing and coloring, but I... gave up on the hair... im never looking at it again

The one on the right is the style of the manhwa! It was only then I realized why the hair looks so bad, it is because I forced my logics/physics/style onto my attempts. So I locked in and tried for a low attempt sketch...

um so the left is my character Ron, who is currently 16 and living by himself. This is a flashback to when he was a child living with his mom in their mansion (they was rich rich), to a memory with a friend that was- is dear to him. She was a child of one of the mansions caretakers/maids/staff (filthy rich) who also hung out with Ron as they were the few (maybe only idk yet) children on the grounds. They decided to do a gift exchange to rid of the boredom and as a token for their friendship, or as an early Christmas present, who knows what's going on in their minds.
