Idk if this has been said before, maybe I'm late to the realisation, but I'm rewatching the S6 finale and in the bit where Travis is talking about how he's remembering his childhood memories, he mentions that he's realised that Terry used to spoil him so much to try to make up for the times he would be overtaken by Michael. And the implications of this is killing me because do you think Michael would either emotionally or physically abuse Travis using Terry's body and Terry couldn't do anything about it? And that guilt made him try to spoil Travis with material things because what else could he do? I wouldn't put it past Michael to hurt a child that isn't cooperating with his plans.
My brain is too drawn to tragic Greek mythology and I'm imagining Aarmau as Orpheus and Eurydice (specifically Aph as Orpheus and Aaron as Eurydice, do you see the vision) and I need to write this AU immediately even though it'll probably make me weep but I can't stop thinking about it because Aarmau is already an inherently doomed relationship if you think about Shad and Irene and Diaries Aarmau.
But also now I want to brainstorm every other character and give them a Greek myth just so I can be more sad about these Minecraft people oh what have I done

Horrible thought, what if Aph learns to hear Aaron's heartbeat just like he does with her and she becomes so anxious about it post s6 (because he's died before) that she finds herself unable to sleep at night and just lays next to him listening closely to make sure he's still alive.
And what if, little does she know that he does the same with her when she eventually dozes off or whenever they're in different rooms and he can't see her to check. The experience of having lost each other before turns into a fear of it happening again, and it becomes an issue they need to work through because they can't live out the rest of their lives happy together if they're constantly worried about this. They need to learn to adapt back to living a safe life after spending so long in constant danger.
I needed to write a short version of that scene from MCD S2 81 (aka the beginning of Aaron's inability to stay alive and healthy for 5 minutes) for a fic I'm in the middle of planning and attempting to write a rough draft of, and it made me sad so I have to share it with the class sorry not sorry
His Choice
The air smelled acrid. It overwhelmed her senses as she arrived at the explosion ground, small fires crackling in the distance. She had rushed here the moment she had heard the deafening noise, every possibility of danger reverberating through her head.
At first, she felt overwhelming joy. He was alive. Standing before her was the very man she had desperately wished to save, looking exactly as she'd remembered him.
“Garroth!” she cried as she ran to embrace him. He was real, and his steady arms clutched her body to his. “How? How are you here?”
And yet, when she detached herself from him and looked into his eyes, she found they did not match her elation.
“Garroth, what’s wrong?” She searched his eyes desperately. “You’re home. You’re safe. Everything is going to be okay. You-”
She finally noticed what he held in his hand.
“That bandana." She looked around frantically. "Where… where is he, Garroth? Take me to him, please.”
“Aphmau,” his voice trailed wearily. She couldn't understand why he looked at her with such pity. As if something had happened to her. He was the one that had escaped from the realm he'd been left behind in. She should have been comforting him.
“Garroth you have to take me to him. We need to find him. After that we can bring you back to the others.”
“Aphmau, I’m sorry.”
“No. No. He’ll be somewhere around here. The explosion must have thrown him into the woods. He could be injured. We need to-”
She couldn’t finish her sentence as she looked back into his eyes. For the first time since she’d known him, her gentle knight shed tears as he hugged her head tightly to his chest. In mere moments, her world had come together and fallen apart once more.
As the fires roared their way through the trees, nothing could stop her anguished wail as the truth ripped its way into her heart.
Okay in planning my fic, I managed to make it so complicated it's now breached lore that's incomplete or not mentioned directly and I'm losing my mind trying to create plausible theories and connections for things that I can't find anyone in the fandom talking about (if these have been discussed before please send me a link because I was frantically searching to no avail) so I'm going to try to piece things together here because I think this is really interesting and will be crucial to seasons 7 and 8 as well as the Aphverse in general and I want to come back to this once we start getting more information. Be warned, this is incredibly long and ends up being getting really specific with lore pieces but I promise that it's worth the time. Not everything here is new information, I just tried thinking about things in more detail.
What caused the Void?
In Void Paradox Episode 4, Modzilla theorises that the Void is a result of an imbalance, a temporal shift somewhere in the dimensional universe. I was really intrigued by him specifically referring to a 'temporal shift'. My understanding of this is that somewhere in the dimensional universe, something or someone messed with the space-time continuum and has thrown things out of balance, so the void is the natural response. The big question then is where in the dimensional universe did this event occur? In the same conversation, Modzilla says that the void is “a clinical force here to correct the imbalance or anything that might be in its path to it by using complete and utter destruction thereby resetting the universe to its primal state”. 'Anything that might be in its path' implies that the void has a target to reach (the origin of the imbalance) and that's why it's spreading through the dimensional universe and consuming other realms. Therefore I believe, based on the Something is Coming teaser, that it is MyStreet Aphmau's realm that was the origin of the 'temporal shift' and that the void has been trying to reach this realm. The big questions I now have are:
What was this temporal shift and when did it happen?
Correct me if I'm wrong (I can't remember if this was proven in canon or simply a theory), my MCD knowledge is still fuzzy because I saved it until last for my Aphverse rewatch so I'm only in the beginning of s1, but I believe Irene and the Divine Warriors, with the power of the relics, were able to previously push back the Void? (which opens up a whole can of worms on this being why Irene took such a drastic measure as to sacrifice her daughter among other people to create relics and the question of whether or not Irene is a bad person). If so, they must have pushed it back to somewhere (since I don't think there's any known way of 'destroying' the Void) and it likely ended up being a realm somewhere further away in the dimensional universe (does this mean Irene doomed another realm and therefore other realms as the Void spread?), hence the Void now making its way through this universe to find and correct the imbalance. All of this suggests that the imbalance must have occured before Irene's time. We only know of one series of events that occured in this world before Irene: Holla's civilisation and the comet. Which leads me to the diary entries of Dem and the newspaper article on the comet (images taken from the Aphmau wiki).
The Comet
I'm going through these images one by one because they each have something to unpack.
So the comet, Zeid, was meant to collide with the planet and destroy it entirely, and that Holla's parents were trying to find a way to stop this. This is something most people who know about these diary entries have been aware of. However, what I don't see people talk about is the sentence "We will not stop our studies on anima manipulation". Frankly I had no idea what anima manipulation is so after a little bit of research I found that anima has different meanings in different contexts but the one that stuck out to me was that anima is the inner self. I'll explain why with the next diary entry.
This entry explains that the researchers of the Celestial Cannon are trying to use it to stop the canon. At this point, there is still 10 years left to figure things out. But Holla's parents are trying to do something different. I think the last few sentences are really crucial here. "We must find a way to outlast it - to survive it". This is completely different to trying to stop or destroy the comet. I think this implies that they want to find a way for the planet to not be destroyed once the comet hits. Dem says that they found what they were looking for. However, we don't know what this actually thing is. The line that I find most important here is "All we had to do was look into ourselves". I immediately thought of the previous entry's mention of anima manipulation. If anima is the inner self, and the answer to the comet is to look into yourself, then this means that the inner self being used is the key to outlasting the comet (more on what I think this actually means further down). However, the third diary, the newspaper article, and the Holla lore in MyStreet S6 is where things start to derail and confuse me.
The third and final diary entry is written 4 years before the comet is set to hit. Dem mentions needing to test a prototype, which I assume is a follow up of their research on anima manipulation. He also mentions that Mea made the choice to be the test and all that's left is a "small flame that stands on the platform", which I believe we've already figured out to mean a relic, at least that's what my understanding of this has always been. But relics are made using the Celestial Cannon, yet the previous entry mentioned that Dem and Mea worked separately to the other researchers. Something must have happened between then and now to cause make them decide to use the Cannon after all. Maybe desperation from this being the final rotation before the comet hits causes them to shift their goals of outlasting the comet to simply destroying it. Overall, I think these diary entries are essentially the first discovery of what relics are and how to make them, as well as the true power of the Celestial Cannon. Mea and Dem were working on the theory of anima manipulation, and I assume they believed they could draw out hidden power from the inner self and use that to survive the impact of the comet. Eventually, that led them back to the Cannon, and Mea ends up turning herself into what is likely the very first relic, meaning that anima manipulation is just the early theories of what relics are, which is turning people and their inner workings into objects of power, as relics are fuelled by memories and everything that makes up a person, hence why Lucinda, Zane, and Aaron lose parts of themselves after having been used as relics, as those parts of themselves were quite literally converted into power for Aphmau to use against Michael.
This is where I'm not sure of the exact details of what happens next. In Season 6, Holla reveals that he used the relic of his mother (which I assume is why he was still alive in Mystreet, it ends up making him immortal?) to fire the Celestial Cannon against the comet, and that this used the souls of everyone below it, killing his entire civilisation in the process. What I'm not clear on is how intentional this action was. Correct me if you know and I just missed this (this would then disprove my next point but oh well). But I feel like we can assume that Dem and Mea, and by association Holla, were decent enough people to not want to sacrifice their entire city, since they were trying to save the world. Therefore I believe Holla operated the Celestial Cannon on the assumption that wielding the relic of his mother would be enough to power the Celestial Cannon, since the issue with the original researcher is that the scientists couldn't find a powerful enough energy source for it. Obviously the relic wasn't enough, and all of Zi'Tah's population ended up being the energy source.
BUT! This next part is where things are suspicious for me. We're led to believe that that the Cannon was meant to destroy the comet, since the planet wasn't destroyed in Holla's time. This newspaper clipping suggests otherwise.
"According to findings, the comet was on a direct collision with the earth. However when the predicted time came, the comet never appeared. The comet ceased to exist. Scholars of the ancient civilisation attribute its disappearance to a mysterious light seen in the sky near it's annual arrival. The origin of the light source remains unknown."
I'm no scientist, but I feel like comets that have the potential to destroy a planet don't just 'disappear'. If the comet was destroyed, surely there would have been debris, considering it is such a large object. Surely the comet would break apart after having been hit by the beam of the Cannon, and it's pieces would float around in space close enough to the planet for modern scientists to be able to discover them. I think the use of the word 'disappear' is very intentional here. The mysterious light is probably the beam of the Cannon, so we know that it ended up being used, backed up verbally by Holla in Season 6. The thing is though, I don't think the Celestial Cannon destroyed the comet.
What happened to the comet?
This is where all of what's I've been discussing should come together for my theory. I'm working on the assumption that Holla didn't intend to sacrifice his city. Therefore, he probably didn't know how to work with and concentrate the vast amount of energy coming from all these souls once the Cannon was activated.
In most of the imagery for MyStreet: One Last Time, as well as very obviously in the teaser, we are shown a comet, and we can safely assume that this will end up being a really important part of the plot. However,I think it's too coincidental for there to be yet another comet appearing to destroy this planet again.
And notice how this poster for One Last Time something like a clock (without hour or minute hands) behind the girl with the wolf mask and behind the wolf-like Void creature? This would suggest the season may end up messing around with the concept of Time.
Here's my crazy theory. I'm probably just reaching and could be very wrong but I just need to get this out there because I'd rather be wrong than have no proof if I am somehow proven correct.
What if Holla ended up accidentally using the Celestial Cannon to open a rift in time which ends up sending the comet into the future? Into the time period of One Last Time.
This isn't a current known ability of the Celestial Cannon, but we've already been shown that it is a very powerful machine. And Holla was the first person to wield it. I want to point out that he wasn't a scientist. He wasn't an adult when the comet was set to hit if we look at the years of the diary entries. He was roughly 11 when his mother became a relic and a maximum of 15 when the comet was meant to impact. Holla was a child (this leads me to question why firing the canon was left to Holla in the first place, but we don't have enough information to answer that). He very likely didn't have a full understanding of it all. And the newspaper article mentions that the comet 'disappeared'. What if Holla isn't even aware of what exactly happened, or just how powerful the combination of the souls of everyone in his city could be? What if he assumed that he got rid of the comet, but it disappearing was actually him sending it forward in time, thousands of years into the future?
Now remember the temporal shift I mentioned earlier? The one that is the cause of the imbalance which causes the Void to eventually appear and be the reason for Irene to need to turn people into relics? The one that causes the events of Void Paradox and eventually leads VP Aphmau and her group to travel to a rift between dimensions to figure out the cause and cure for the Void?
I don't know about you, but sending a comet into to the future sounds like a substantial enough temporal shift to me. One could even say that it causes an imbalance that needs to be corrected by a clinical force. This means that MyStreet Aphmau's realm is the target of the Void, and it's making its way througn the dimensional universe, destroying the realms in its path, including Modzilla's original realm and the realm of VP Aphmau. And if this imbalance isn't corrected, the Void will consume this realm too and this dimensional universe will return to its primordial state of nothing.
But hey, that's just a theory. An Aphmau theory.
Anyway that's the core part of my theory. I want to briefly end on the implications of this theory and questions that arise from it.
How is this imbalance going to be rectified?
If sending the comet into the future is the issue, is it possible they could send it back?
Would that stop the spread of the Void?
Would sending the comet back mess with the present since time travel shenanigans are notoriously messy?
Can the realms that have already been affected by the Void be saved?
Will VP Aphmau make an appearance and work together alongside MyStreet Aphmau to save the universe?
Am I reaching too far and am I actually just stupid?
Will we ever find Laurance again?
