25. Do you have any CDs, vinyls, cassettes, etc. of your favorite albums?

YES I HAVE SO MANY!! I got a cd/dvd player for like five bucks last year and have been collecting CDs since. i have a handful of beatles and monkees and mccartney and harrison, some lennons that i got from a family member, a few noel gallaghers high flying birds. my favorite are gifts--one of my roommates gave me The Traveling Wilburys, Vol. 1 for my birthday last year, and last week (!!) my friend gave me Head (1968) and i'm very happy about that

i also have a vinyl and 2 cassettes with no way to play them. i absolutely cannot get into collecting vinyls.

27. What’s your favorite music video?

this is difficult. i love a lot of music videos...i think i'd have to pick Champagne Supernova as my favorite. the song & the video are very close to my heart, and the video is very pretty

he has very little in terms of how he should “canonically” be characterized so i think it’s very difficult to actually be “wrong” about how you see him, but i also see him in a very particular way and don’t personally enjoy interpretations that veer super far from my own, even if they’re equally valid. i like to see him as a nice, kind of silly guy thrust into a fucked-up situation and forced to become a symbol he never wanted to be. it is interesting to me!

and while i base some of this on hints presented in canon (see: gordon kind of just being Some Scientist, the silly stories about him racing through vents or breaking beakers), other stuff can come from how i play him in my games.

ALYX MY ABSOLUTE BELOVED. i truly don’t think i’ve ever been more romantically in love with a fictional character and you saw this firsthand. she is just...aoguguh i love her so much!! i was worried i wouldn’t because i wasn’t sure how well she would be written, but she’s really great. i’m no authority on her character (i’ll have to replay the games before i can be snobby about how she’s characterized), but i love her and i think there’s a lot to her character that could still be explored (her childhood growing up with only vague memories and stories of a normal world, her memories of her mother, her trauma after her father died-- wait that got retconned for no reason).

i think fandom is so fucking weird about her. she’s an adult woman who gets treated like a child no matter how capable and literally an adult she is. she’s the deuteragonist of half-life 2 and the protagonist of her own game, and people still ignore her because...idk, barney is a handsome white man, i guess. i’m sorry, as much as i like the guy, she has so much more character and is so much more interesting and central to the series and yet doesn’t get a fraction of the attention he gets because fans are incapable of caring about anything else except shipping two white men together. (and when fans are including her, she’s either the sassy lesbian sidekick to their relationship or her existing father is replaced by her two white male peers because fans are fucking insane and weird.)
