Juda learned how to take his high school compulsion for studying and make it into a career. Upon graduating from Stanford University with a degree in anthropology he took a job back in Seattle as a research assistant at The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture. He is now trying to make a big decision; be practical and apply to graduate school or join a risky yet fulfilling archaeological research opportunity abroad.

After graduating high school Juda became more comfortable with his sexuality (as so many do when they get to college) He has dated around but has had a hard time finding someone he wanted to date long term. His friends have pushed him to try dating apps but he doesn’t like the self promotion or sketchiness that comes with them.

He and Laurel bonded over their love of photography. Juda enjoyed capturing moments of people’s days and so did Laurel. Laurel tried to convince him to pursue photography with her but Juda took the more practical (and parent approved) route, finding a similar feeling in studying people rather than photographing them.

He is soft spoken and constantly overthinking. He can get far too in his own head to fully enjoy experiences sometimes. 

He didn’t make it all the way through his valedictorian speech before breaking down and leaving the stage.

Juda loves animals. He and his younger sister, Tess, begged their parents for a dog when they were little. He currently has a Jack Russell Terrier named Indiana. One of his research topics in school was in regards to human and animal codependency.

He is a total lightweight and everyone knows it. In high school he rarely drank and never smoked. The one time he got drunk was at senior prom when he drank his nerves for Ezra away. It ended with him passed out on his friend’s trampoline in just his boxers.

(TW: Pill Usage) In college, Juda developed a bad habit of using caffeine pills. While it hasn’t reached a point of addiction he has kept the pills a secret thinking his friends would look down on him. This has led to in increase in his anxiety and a lack of sleep.

Wanted Connections

Emotional Support Human- A friend who he can always rely on to lift his mood or at least calm him down. Gives plenty of physical touch and affirmation. Happy to stay in, have a wine night and pass out after talking for hours.

A Jumpstart- Juda isn’t good at getting out of his own way. He needs friends to push him to try new things and let loose. Once he is in the moment he is great to have around so let’s get him there.

greyson have always had a rough relationship with his parents. his mother left him and his father when he was eight years old and to top it off, she left the morning of his eighth birthday. the whole situation caused greyson to have abandonment and trust issues pretty early on. he was faced with some harsh realities at a age that he probably shouldn’t be.

his father didn’t treat him right, his father hardly took care of himself because of the heartbreak he felt when his wife left him and it made it almost impossible for a guy that didn’t know how to take care of himself anymore take care of an eight year old son. his father also blamed grey for practically anything and everything because it was easier for him to put blame rather than dealing with his feelings.

greyson learned pretty quickly that he didn’t have a parent he could talk to. he couldn’t talk to his dad about happy things in his life, sad things, or anything in between because his father really didn’t have any interest in his son. it made greyson become very closed off, he got used to not talking about himself but he also got used to taking care of his dad and ignoring everything he went through because he was afraid to say anything. he didn’t want to be a burden and that’s what he grew up feeling like. 

greyson have always had a big imagination but when he got old enough to start writing and find interest in it, it became an escape for him. when he was younger he’d write a lot of make believe stories while hiding out in his room. it was like escaping his life and jumping into a better one for a while. - when he got a little older he used his writing as more of a therapy outlet, talking about everything that was in his head and how much he struggled with things. he went from make believe to very real. 

even though he could be naive at times he is a realist. he sees things for how they are and he could have a pretty negative outlook on things. usually he puts his negativity and realism into his writing, that by the way he doesn’t let anyone but his best friend read. unless they don’t know he’s the one that wrote it. on the outside he would rather people see him as someone a little lighter rather than darker. 

he could be a romantic and there was a time when he really was a complete romantic because he wanted something like that for himself so bad that he told himself that he couldn’t be so afraid all the time. even though saying one thing and doing it is different. he could also be naive when he’s not too much in his head. but his naivety and romantic side have lived and learned from the mistakes and now he’s more guarded. 

greyson is for sure a ride or die friend if you’re friends with him. at the end of the day the guy will put his friends in front of himself and he’ll do whatever he can to be there for them. when it comes to opening up himself and letting people see different layers to him, he’s not good at that. he’d rather stay quiet about it. he has a mask he wears in front of people and he’s sticking with it because he doesn’t think anyone would like him if he said some of the things that he actually thought.

he has some major issues when it comes to self confidence or even liking and loving himself. he doesn’t love himself at all. he has a hard time believing that anyone actually likes him and he feels like he just wastes everyone’s times. he’s very anxious, he tries to hide it but he has some tells like rubbing the back of his neck too much or playing with his fingers. to explain greyson in a couple words, at least on the inside, he always feel like he’s trapped in a small space and can’t get out. he has a lot of demons in his head telling him all this shit and he’s really just a mess on the inside but he’s the type that’ll forever say “i’m fine” and wear a smile on his face so no one will bother worrying about him. let him worry about you and be there for you instead because he’s a brick wall.

that being said, even though greyson never talks about it and wants to take it to his grave. he have since he was young had bad anxiety and depression.

to lighten the mood, greyson is a nice guy. he’s got his issues and could say the wrong thing at times because who doesn’t? he’s human, but he’s a good guy. he’s always a safe bet but he’s also a little dorky and he could be clumsy and he could be sarcastic. he’s a dork ok. just know he’s a dork. 

he’s got some bad habits that he picked up on once he left and all the friends parted ways. greyson struggles with himself so much and being that he never lets himself breathe and talk about the things that weigh him down so much, he has fallen into some shit he shouldn’t be in. trying to distract his own mind from everything he puts it through. he’s picked up on abusing different pills and things. 

greyson works at a book store and have been for a long time but his main source of income is that he ghost writes but if anyone asked him what he did, he’d just say he works in a book shop because he doesn’t have that much confidence in his writing even though the books he had ghost wrote for people didn’t do horrible and even though everyone knows he writes and they know he’s always been the guy that said he’d want to write a book one day, he doesn’t want to get attention for it?? if that makes sense. he’s humble about it but also just doesn’t like talking about himself and doesn’t like having any kind of spotlight on him, so he’s bad at that. 

you’d think he’d be good with feelings and be in touch with them being that he could write about feelings and things pretty well but greyson is the worst with his feelings when it comes to real life.

he’s the type of person that thinks he deserves the worst and when good things happen to him he has a hard time believing it and he’s always waiting for the other shoe to drop. there was a time when he wasn’t as negative as he is now but no one would really know because he’s a closed book.
