“I did,” Matt agreed, and he stepped back. “I’ll behave, and I promised it. I don’t go back on my word.”  Liar, Will thought bitterly, thinking of every time Matt had gone back on his word, breaking his promises. It started the first time they slept together, Matt pressing him awkwardly into a frat desk, taking his virginity without any tenderness, promising him that it would get better, that it would feel good, all he had to do was relax, relax and enjoy it. It never stopped, even after Matt had broken up with him and left him standing sadly in the hallway outside of Matt’s apartment, the sounds of a happy life without him drifting out from underneath the door.  

Taking care of yourself and making sure you are happy and healthy is way more important than work! I'm glad you are taking time off to allow your body to heal!
