Rom.dot.com: Twentysomething Kate's life hasn't quite worked out the way she planned. After spending huge amounts of money on a Masters journalism course she finds that the paper she dreamt of working for has folded. On top of it all she has also split from her boyfriend. She finds herself living in her grandmother's basement and desperate to find a writing job. The only job that comes up is one writing online profiles for a dating site which brings her into contact with many eccentric characters!
This is a pretty funny sitcom which explores the tendency of people to compare their lives to others. Occasionally some of the characters can seem a bit stereotypical (the 'nerd' maybe) where there was maybe an opportunity to explore a theme more. However, this series is well made, has some great lines and is entertaining.
