Why is it so hard to describe how my bodily autonomy extends to my mobility aids?
Sure I can leave my rollator on the other side of the room if i need to, but it is part of me, too.
Don't put stuff on it without asking. Don't move it without asking.
Don't touch someone's wheelchair WITHOUT ASKING.
It is part of me and it is as intimate as if you touched my leg. Or removed it seeing as I need it to walk right now.
Trying to explain this to able bodied people is so hard.
