I love this “round table.” The young people are searching for solutions and are worried about what is happening to their county while the adults are doing power-tripping. For one, the present emperor is busy listening to his music and his wife, the empress, is down there probably thinking of new ways of how to scheme. Except for the Lord of the North as Wakamiya gave him a specific task as the army general hunting for the huge monkeys.

Though it pains me to see Lord Natsuka, conservative and arrogant, like this, Rokon dragging him like an unruly child, he’s quite out of touch when it comes to dealing with people whose position is not similar to his. He has not mingled with ordinary Yatagarasu nor carries the experience like his younger brother has, who obviously has seen a lot of things in the outside world and interacted with different kinds of people. Lord Natsuka has his personal guard to deal with them while he is at the court or at his temple.
