Hi, Nonny!  Yes, Rointheta and her work are sorely missed.We donât know her personally, but I can tell you she left online fandom to pursue original fiction.  Some authors are able to leave their work available (or even continue to write new fanfic!), but others arenât.  I believe many major publishers require an author to âcease availabilityâ of works such as fanfic before theyâll consider working with the author.  (That could be out of date, but itâs always been my understandingâŚ)The deletion of her fics was a huge loss for the fandom, but our loss is the worldâs gain and we wish her nothing but the best.  My hope is that sheâs successful, happy, and fulfilled, and a much wider audience is now benefiting from her talent. âĽ
