For those who see tempus, life is dictated by the hour and for those who do not, time dissolved itself into the tiny spaces between raindrops.

Within the scientific realm of understanding, time is a strict progression between cause and effect, it can't be altered, influenced or examined. Macroscopically, time has directions; we know that the past was yesterday and the future is tomorrow, but for those who see tempus, it's more than that.

Time can mean anything; it truly depends on how much sight you have and your willingness to explore it. Some can see the future, others can travel through time and bend and shape our futures, remove aspects of our pasts as though they never happened, and some give time and some take.

Given the circumstances of how you acquired tempus, you are not a detective or an editor of time, your tempus sight is simply to know the time a person has left until they take their final breaths, which by all means, is both a blessing and a curse.

Time could never dissolve into something meaningless for you, each second was precious and regretful. Time only ever disappeared from the countdown you could see on one's wrist and it was wasteful, the seconds you witnessed disappear from peoples clock while doing meaningless things.

Death and time are soulmates.

You wondered if people had the power to know how long they had left in this world, would they live with the freedom of making each minute count? or die with vengeance to the hands of time.
