Finally finished painting my ceiling rose and finials! They've been packed away until the plasterer can put them up. I really like how they came out and I'm proud of myself for painting the ceiling rose the way I wanted instead of chickening out and leaving it plain.
I've also made a final decision on the coving and how it'll be painted. now I just need to buy like 20 meters of the stuff 😅 and it's all plaster so it'll be a fairly big expense. But it's worth it - I've had polystyrene my whole life and I hate it. I can't wait for the room I spend most of my time in to actually be a comfortable and pleasant place to be. It's been in shambles for years so this renovation is quite overdue.
