This post is overdue but I ran the Rock n Roll San Diego Half Marathon on June 1st! So proud of myself. I never thought I would get here. Before last July I couldn’t run more than a mile. Can’t wait for future races.

Day 7

So it is day 7 of training for my half marathon! To be honest, last week wasn't that great. I feel like I should've allowed myself at least a week to recover from my 10K, so I wasn't as active as I would have liked. I only ran 1 time last week, but this week I know I will be better!

Here's what I've already done so far:

Sunday, 02/16: 3 mile run + Yoga Tuesday, 02/18: 3 mile run

Today's run was pretty good! When I first woke up at 7am, I definitely did not want to run, but I am glad I pushed myself to get up. Even during the run, I was struggling a little bit, but once I finished, I was SO happy and was also reminded of how much I actually do like to run, even though I don't always think so. SO glad I don't have to worry about working out for the rest of today!
