"I remember large gummy bears and nothing else of yesterday. Did something happen?"
"This Zorua is just getting more and more bitey...
At this rate, my hands will be too painful for lab work."
Test Tubes and Illusions | Solo Drabble
Juniper walked into her lab and paused, her vision focused on the window. The window that shouldn't have been open. The window that despite all her efforts, had been open every time she came in here. She glared at it for a moment and sat down at her desk, determined not to let it win. Whatever "it" was, it wouldn't get to her. No. That open window would not bother her.

Tick Tock, Turn Back the Clock: Mercede and Oria
The war was heating up overseas. A new champion was crowned for the League and there were talks of new Pokemon being sighted in the Orange Islands. But the best anyone could get were drawings and people kept saying they looked like blue Pikachus. Technology was on the rise during this time and Pokemon were still running the world.
Well, almost running the world. Kanto had a number of women who had more power than any gym leader, police officer or trainer could get.
"OH GO! OH GOD! OH GOD!" An ace trainer was scampering down the streets of Celadon as a giant was chasing after him. Running through alleyways and throwing trashcans in his wake wasn't slowing him down. If he could just get to his house, he'd make it, he'd--
He felt a massive weight crash into him as a Pinsir snapped and pinned him to the ground. "Please! I'm Sorry! I'm sorry!"
"SORRY?" yelled the woman who was now by him. She was breathing heavily and looked livid. She slammed her boot down on his hand, causing him to scream. Onlookers scurried away, trying to avoid eye contact. They knew exactly what this was. "What are you sorry about? Running like a little wuss? That it?" He was blubbering incoherntly as she shooed away her Pinsir, hoisted him up with one hand and slapped him. "You don't run from me. You got that? That was a bad idea to run from me. We talked about this Calvin. We talked about how yesterday was payment day."
"I-I know! I know but--"
"You don't have the money?" Oria hissed as she slammed the man against a wall. "You're two weeks late on payments since we lent you that Abra and you don't have the cash?"
"I-I just need another week--"
"SHUT IT!" Oria yelled, punching him. "You think you can keep asking for more time with Team Rocket? We helped you out and we made a payment plan for you. You jilted us around. So where's the respect in that, huh?" She began to pat the man down before producing a Pokeball she recognized. That was the game corner logo alright. "
"But-But I need--" Calvin was int erupted by Oria. The giantess shoved him to the ground before kicking his face in. He howled in agony, gripping his bleeding nose. "That's for disrespecting Team Rocket. This" she added by kicking him in the gut "is for thinking you can hold off on payments. And this...this is for trying to give me the run around, literally and metaphorically." She picked up the man and continued to punch and punch the man until she felt enough was enough.
Calvin dropped the ground, coughing up blood and tears. He looked like a wreck, and Oria tugged out his wallet. "You call this money? Barely enough..." she grumbled as she gave another kick to the guy. "We'll be seeing you again soon Calvin. This ain't gonna cover interest. Money tomorrow at noon. If you ain't at your house by then, we're taking everything we find. And don't even think about running or calling the cops."
Getting back to the Game Corner wasn't much trouble for the giant. She frequented the place quite often and her boss-her best friend- was there as well. Past the customers and to the back, she entered. "Hope I'm not interrupting anything."
