“Do not worry, everyone is getting out. Did you not hear the announcement?” Of course, he seemed to have been asleep, so… probably not. “Lance told me to get you. He’s already outside the base.”

“What announcement?! I heard nothin’!”

Fist clenched and shaking, he could feel his eyes burning with the sense of tears forming. He was confused and in a panic.

Arceus.. he hoped to everything that his friends were ok.. all of them.. heck. He even hoped that the toothpick scientist was alright as much as he disliked him.

“..Please.” whispering towards the ground he turned and started running again until he reached his room. Quickly heading inside and rummaging through everything scattered around. Picking up a second bag and tossing it toward the other without looking up from under his bed as he pointed toward his vanity.

“Take that and start grabbing the makeup from the table over there.”

And Miles’ eyes light up as he, too, kneels down to pet the spider. “I love her so much… what’s her name?”

“Banana, because she likes those a lot. She chose it for herself...isn´t she the sweetest?”

His heart felt like it’d sunk into his feet- but he still shuffled into Proton’s office. “I-I was wondering, u-u-um… what’s, what’s my j-job?” He wasn’t working for the Unova branch anymore, didn’t have any job anymore, but he couldn’t just… live for free, right? That wasn’t how it worked.

“...please, take a seat dear. Would you like something to drink?”

With a sigh he placed his things to the side, focusing his full attention on the young man. This was...a difficult topic after all. 

The door opened with some difficulty, Miles stepping in with a cardboard box. “Paperwork from Interim Archer, sir. Where should I put it?”

And of he goes, the pictures of the scorched, half molten walls and floor in hand.

Seeing the other one lying there, Tailor quickly checks him for any injuries, glad when he finds Miles to be unharmed.
