  IDW Ratchet

 When he’s doing paperwork heabsentmindedly strokes your back with one servo. It helps him concentrate, plushe gets to spend time with you while he’s working. He’ll also do this inmeetings or when he’s deep in thought.

·        He’s awed by how soft yourhair is. He pets and scritches your head to help you get to sleep sometimes.

·        Since he’s always tired youtwo take naps together. He likes it when you snuggle up on his shoulder or inthe crook of his neck so he can nuzzle you or turn his head to smooch you. Ifyou sleep on top of his chest he lays a servo gently on you to keep you warmand safe.

·        He’d never say it out loud,but he thinks your tummy is adorable.If you’re alone and he’s in a playful mood he’ll tickle or rub it. If he’s everangry just show him your tummy. He breaks into a grin every time.

·        The Mighty Megatron isn’t scared of anything.And yes, maybe he has changed, buthe’s gotten smarter, stronger- no longer willing to bend to the whims of asociety that didn’t care for its workers. If anything he’s looking to impressyou with all he’s done; those mines he thought you were killed in? Gone. Alongwith those who forced you to work in such fowl conditions. Look at all he’sdone for his people- for you!

·        He is in no way shy. He wants you and he’s goingto get you. One day your presence is requested in the throne room. You gonervously, because usually when someone has a private audience with Megatronthey don’t come back. When you get there, though, you’re given thehighest-quality energon available and an amulet made of dark energon; acourting gift, he says with a nearly predatory grin.

·        To say he’s possessive is an understatement. Yourarely go anywhere without being on his arm, and most of your duties involveadvising, planning, overseeing, etc. He rarely ever sends you on high-riskmissions, despite the fact he regularly trains and spars with you. Everyonenotices, but only Starscream was ever foolish enough to bring it up. Soundwaveratted him out, and Megatron was furious. You didn’t see Starscream for daysafterwards.

Is it okay to set tfp Ratchet post-series? That’s really theonly way for there to be sparklings (plus it works better)

TFP Ratchet

Ratchet FREAKS OUT because where did these smols comefrom???? Then he FREAKS OUT in a good way because he LOVES these smols and damnright he’s gonna protect them and love them forever. His arms are full ofbeans, he’s crying happy tears.

He loves feeding the babies. Now that energon is once againabundant Ratchet makes sure his family has their fill. He also loves the waythey gaze up at him with their shiny optics as they drink.

There’s a good chance at least one of your beans is gonnahave Ratchet’s famous temper. There’s also a good chance that, like Ratchet,you’ll be the only one able to calm them down.

Hey Ratchet, what’s in that your kibble backpack? Surprise! IT’SFULL OF BEANS.

MTMTE Megatron

When you start acting weird he’s afraid you’re getting readyto leave him. He goes to tell you that he understands, but could you pleasejust get it over with- and stops short. He’s frozen, processor spinning, as youexplain what’s been making you act so strange. Then he faints.

At first he considers running. He’s the last person who should take care of sparklings. But just someone knowing they’re his already puts themand you in danger. He becomes very protective over all of you; no one isharming his family.

Everything is a milestone. “Honey come quick- I read Juniormy poem and he smiled! Isn’t that wonderful? Our little one has taken a shineto poetry!”  He starts recording almostas much as Rewind. He’s so proud of his lil babes.

One night he curls around you and kisses your neck. “Darling…I think we should have another.”

MTMTE Cyclonus

When he sees you surrounded by sparklings his jaw drops. Slowly,he approaches you and kisses you deeply. Then he picks up each bean and kissesthem in turn.

He sings the sparklings to sleep. One night a couple of themtry to imitate him and sing along. It’s mostly little squawks and peeps, butCyclonus is overjoyed. Pretty soon you two have a chorus of sing beans.

Walking down the hall is like being in a parade. You andCyclonus are up front, walking arm in arm, as your little ones trail behindyou. The Lost Light passengers become accustomed to automatically parting thecrowd for you.

Tailgate is their uncle. He and Rung are the go-tobabysitters when you and Cyclonus need a night to yourselves.

IDW Waspinator

There’s no way Waspinator wouldn’t know what’s going on-insectons can smell that sort of thing. He already has a nest ready and laysyou down to rest as he checks over all the sparklings.

He works damn hard for his family. He’s by no means rich, sohe takes as many jobs as possible to be able to provide for you. At the end ofthe day you’re both exhausted- him from his jobs and you from taking care ofthe babies- but you’re also both so full of joy. Look at your wonderful family…Waspinator snuggles up to you and the kids, buzzing that he’s never beenhappier.

Waspinator is a great flying teacher! He’s patient but notdoting. If a child falls he makes sure they aren’t hurt and urges them to brushit off and try again. They can do it- he knows they can! Once they get it downhe is the proudest papa.

Sorry this is so late, darling U3U

Rodimus immediately makes himself known towhomever is chatting you up. He slings an arm around your shoulders and bumpshis hips against yours, kissing your cheek and saying “hey babe.” He makes sureto act as un-impressed as possible toward the other person- sighing, rollinghis eyes, talking over him. Don’t be surprised when he acts childish; if theother person is being obnoxious he won’t hesitate to “blah blah blah” them. Itends up with them storming off and Rodimus laughing about it. He is Immature.

Drift respects your space, but… he wants tointervene. You’re just talking tosomeone; it should be no big deal, but… he often mixes up protectiveness and jealousy(he’s working on it!) He stands to the side a bit behind you, partly to notinterrupt and partly because he’s subtly trying to intimidate the person you’rewith. The moment they get flirty he’s got a hold of your servo, puffing hischest out with his best “bitch, try me” look at the other person. Even afterthey leave he’s clingy and keeps wanting to kiss you.

Brainstorm is a whiny lil shit when he’sjealous. He hangs all over you, “baaabe… baaaaaabe… babe.” Huh, is someone talking? He can’t hear it over how much he looooovesyou. You’ll have to take him aside and talk to him about it; he’sself-conscious, but he’ll tone it down if you reassure him there’s no need tobe jealous. No, you’re not going to leave him.

Whirl listens for a bit- just to make sure he’s really hearing what he thinks he is- before he struts in. “You braggin’ about me again, babe?” He makes sure to flex and pose to make you blush. Inside he’s giddy like a schoolgirl. Usually the gossip about him is… not great, so he’s gonna milk this for all it’s worth.

Rung doesn’t mean to overhear your conversation- he’d never eavesdrop- and he doesn’t stay long… Not too long. His spark spins and the energon rushes to his cheeks as he buries his face in his servos. To hear someone talk so sweetly and genuinely about him…! When he sees you later he’s extra affectionate, smooching you and telling you how special you are to him. 

Fort Max stays and listens for as long as he can. He knows he shouldn’t be listening to other people’s conversations, but he’s rooted to the floor. You say something particularly flattering and his cooling fans blast on, his treads spinning wildly. It makes enough noise that you catch him. Poor boy is so embarrassed he almost runs away before you tell him it’s alright. Then he smiles and scoops you up. It is now Cuddle Time.

On one handRavage isn’t used to being alone for too long. He’s always had Soundwave andthe other cassettes, and sleeping next to someone has always been a thing ofcomfort and safety for him. He sleeps in Megatron’s habsuite, but he’s neverventured onto the berth.

On the otherhand it’s hard to earn his trust. He has a deep-set loyalty to his family, but you are an outsider. It’s hard at firstto approach him given how intimidating and stand-offish he is.

Once he letshis guard down around you, you find out he’s actually very interesting! Heknows random facts about things you wouldn’t guess (like elephants) and pointsout things no-one else notices. He knows all the latest gossip, and has a drysense of humor that’s a bit of an acquired taste.

The firsttime you invite him to sleep at your habsuite he refuses. He says no prettyfast; he’s just shocked. After some major consideration he’ll bring it upanother time.

He startsmaking himself cozy in a corner until you pat the spot next to you in berth,inviting him up to lay with you. He grumbles that he’s not a pet, to which youreply you know, but the floor can’t be comfortable and there’s enough room. It’snot like you were going to pet him or anything… Slowly, he pads over to theberth, hopping up and kneading the covers before he curls contentedly into yourside. He grumbles a thank you.

Now you’repart of his family. He’s fiercely loyal and protective of you. He also knocksover your drinks and walks in between your legs when he’s annoyed with you.

Soonrecharging with him becomes habit. He curls his tail over you and nuzzles yourneck when he’s really sleepy. Eventually, he nudges his head under your servoand purrs. You are allowed to pet the deadly kitty.

I already have some headcanons for Strongarm here :)

TFP Ratchet

Even though he seems grumpy and rough, he once he caresabout someone he is 110% going to protect them and do everything he can forthem. Sometimes he can seem like a mother hen.

He’s a hypocrite- he nags you to sleep and eat while he’srunning on fumes. You have to remind him to take care of himself.

Make sure to tell him how important he is. The more you sayit the more he’ll start to believe it. He doesn’t know how valuable he is tothe team; a little appreciation goes a long way.

Honestly he’s the best person to bitch with. No issue is toopetty to be salty about, lay it on him. Between snide remarks and his owncomplaining he’ll give you advice. It’s not always good advice, mind you (don’thit your boss with a wrench) but he tries.

He loves it when you join him in the wash racks. Loves it.You can get in between plating and untangle wires, and gosh when you help with the seams of his servos he melts into a bigpile of goop. By the time you’re drying off his engine is purring. After a longhot shower he lets you cover him in pillows and you take a nap together.

RB Chase

Chase is always overjoyed to see you. His optics light upand there’s a bounce in his step. Most don’t notice these subtle signs ofhappiness, but you do.

Blushy babe. So blushy. Chase isn’t experience when it comesto affection- even by Cybertronian standards- so every little touch makes histanks flutter and his spark spin. The first time you kissed his cheeks his fansblasted so hard you were nearly knocked right off of him (don’t worry, hecaught you). Even if it’s overwhelming he does love the attention; it’s exhilaratingin the most addicting way.

He’s super into the idea of chivalry. And I don’t just meanthe gentleman-ly stuff. No, I mean he is dedicated to you. He made an actualspeech about how since you came along his duties as a Rescue Bot are even moreimportant; now he has you to protect.
