I'd like to mention that Bruce may not talk to her because of the guilt he feels for trying to kill her that first half of Avengers
I’m not even talking about it from an in universe perspective. Joss Whedon should straight up be shot for including that horrifically painful conversation at the bar during the party, the one with all that really poorly done cheesy dialogue. I literally turned to my friend in the theater and asked, “Is it just me or is this conversation extremely painful to listen to?” and she said, “No yeah, it’s painful.”
and don’t even get me started on the whole “Natasha can relate to Bruce because she feels like a monster for not being able to have babies” thing.
I cringed every time they had a conversation because their dialogue was so badly written. instead of the adorable, complex relationship we could have gotten we got, like, Joss Whedon’s nerd boy wank fantasy or something.
