There is pain and suffering on the Mainland. Having lived in Hawai’i for years I hadn’t seen it, but having evacuated the Big Island’s sulfur dioxide poisoning from the lava flow and Volcano recently, I see the negativity, strong police surveillance activity, and general discontent amongst the people. This will change over time as the younger generation gets the opportunity to make things better, their promise of utilizing technology in new and exciting ways is breathtaking.
