The Trip To Spain ★★★☆☆
Synopsis: Steve and Rob set out to a working holiday trip through Spain as they take gastronomical experiences and soak in Spanish culture.
Film Review: Talk about mid-life crisis while on holiday. The Trip To Spain is a film that would make you laugh, drool and feel a slight sadness in between the impressions and jokes these two comedians make. It's like watching a continuous stand-up show, but they both take you home after and get to see them as real people with real problems. Despite the comedy and hilarious take on the many celebrities, especially Mick Jagger, the two friends avoid having real conversations with each other. They seemed very close from a sight but not as tight as to show vulnerability.
This film is the third series of Rob and Steve's journey to life from England to Italy, then Spain. This couple has officially made a successful comic trilogy that talks about real-life experiences with a touch of melodramatic conflicts such as their career and romantic lives.
In addition to their success would be their flair as comedians as well as their contrasting personality that makes them very interesting to watch while they talk for hours overlapping each other gracefully. This duo is such a delight to watch!
Altogether, The Trip To Spain is yet another instalment of The Trip series that guarantees to make you laugh and is best recommended to watch it with a glass of wine.
