Do you mind sharing where you purchased it, or the publication details? I found similar BN editions, but in pics yours seems nicer. Hey, thank you so much! It is the Barnes and Noble edition, I bought mine from eBay here (I’ve bought several books from this seller, they are very good). The books from this B&N line are gorgeous. The covers are bonded leather (so def an animal product, fyi for vegans) and they’re sturdier than a paperback but not quite a hardcover. It’s a bit hard to describe! I prefer hardcovers myself, but I’m pretty satisfied with the strength and sturdiness of these editions and will continue to buy them. The spine, which is my number one concern with paperbacks, definitely seems like it will hold up to use and wear, and although the covers are flexible, they’re thicker than a usual paperback. They’re also built like a hardcover, in that the covers sort of...encompass? the size of the paper? where with a traditional paperback the covers line up with the sizes of the paper. I’d definitely call it closer to a hardcover, even with the softness/flexibility, and just looking at them they definitely look like hardcovers. I hope that helps!
