Story:
Pondskip never liked to hang out with the other cats. They oftentimes were rude and made fun of how he looked, which never mattered much to him. And because of this, he was closer to his brother than any other cat, anytime he was to have fun, Riverrush was there.
So of course he would accept the offer Riverrush had extended. Unfortunately, what was meant to be an enjoyable experience was cut short by his own death, how inconvenient. What truly made Pondskip feel grief was how his brother punished himself.
Hee longed to tell him that it wasn't his fault, but he didn’t know how. None of the other cats told him how to appear to other cats, and so he hoped that Riverrush would stop his blame on his own.
Pondskip was heartbroken when he greeted his brother, and felt even worse when his brother was still being unfairly punished. He swore he would fix this enormous mistake, in his own way.
He set out one day, and started to hunt the eight cats that had sentenced his brother to the Dark Forest. He started with a small calico, who had been especially rude to his brother. He killed her quickly, and left her within one of the Starclan camps.
His next victim, or more appropriately, prey, was a larger grey tom. He had been the one that held him back from joining his brother. He got a rather bit messy with this one, but the squish of his claws piercing the behated toms eye was all too satisfying.
Then one after the other, they all went down, a small tabby tom, a large calico she-cat, a tortoiseshell around the same size as himself, a black cat with a snaggle tooth, a little grey one no bigger than an apprentice.
There was only one cat left, a large white tom who looked to be a direct descendant of a lion. He had been the one to say the dreaded words to Riverrush, and as such, Pondskip planned to show him no mercy. As his pitch-black blood stained paws thundered towards him, Pondskip threw all caution out the window, and tackled the tom, fighting with a ferocity that could rival the most violent of creatures. The tom fought hard, but Pondskip fought harder. He finally caught a mouthful of the tom’s throat and yanked it out as fast as he could.
He dragged the body back to the Starclan camp. As he watched the terrified cats tremble, he deposited the body along with the others, and as a show of his anger, he raked his claws across the final cat’s face, splattering his fur with the stars that lay beneath his skin.
He left the camp slowly, and walked across the border to the Dark Forest. He could care less if any of those Starclan bastards came looking for him, he had a brother to find, and he wouldn’t let any cat stand in his way.
