(JJBA) It’s Melone silly time. With old meme.
Second slide is just a thing I’m hung up on since I read jojo. Araki went through the effort of clarifying that the door was locked and not broken into, but how did Melone get in and out of the cabin (and in again). So I offered up some possibilities. (Yes I know the focus was not on that, it was him making her a host for his homunculus stand).

Risotto and Melone for the ask game?
Send me two characters and I will tell you what my ideal ship dynamic is for these characters!
I have given this some thought, and I concluded that it would be a great comfort ship, primarily on Risotto’s end, but the comfort would naturally extend back to Melone. To my mind, Risotto is a fairly calm and deeply caring person who has a lot on his mind and his shoulders, and while his team supports him a hundred percent, literally none of them have Melone’s relaxing and supportive presence. Prosciutto has his shit together, but he is not laid-back, and the others all have their different quirks that might get in the way of a serious yet productive discussion; Melone on the other hand does have a calming effect when he puts his mind to it, else high-strung Ghiaccio wouldn’t be able to tolerate him. Also, Melone has a perfect excuse to get close and personal with Risotto, because the anime hints at the idea that he is keeping records for La Squadra like a mafia accountant of sorts, meaning that whenever Risotto wants to file something, Melone is the man for the job.
I feel like they would start out talking exclusively about business, because Melone knows what tone to use depending on the situation. I see him as fairly playful, but he knows when to drop it; Formaggio might be inclined to carry the joke further where Melone would have stopped in time for his own good. And so at first he is professional and keeps things to the point, offering suggestions or advice where he feels competent, and Risotto would appreciate the fact that Melone can explain what he means and what he wants without pressure or raising his voice. He just feels like a very comfortable, very pleasant conversation partner, and sooner or later, Risotto would relax into asking Melone’s opinion on other things, or accommodating and humoring him when he introduces a change of topic. After all, Melone also has problems or needs that a team leader can assist with, and Risotto would probably be glad to return the favor by doing him acts of service.
From there, it’s only a matter of time before Risotto starts feeling safe around Melone and being able to tell him anything. They might live in a world with jagged edges, but whenever I think of any characters at length, I always keep in mind that humans will be humans, and they cannot survive without trust and camaraderie and some tenderness. No matter how many records Melone keeps and how many secrets both have, eventually they would relax and find that they enjoy spending time together just for the other’s company. Melone would find Risotto very interesting in every respect, and Risotto would find Melone curious and challenging in a familiar way. And hey, if they want to relax even more and have sex in Risotto’s cramped office on top of the hideout bills they still haven’t paid, I’m not going to fucking judge. Let’s be grateful Risotto even has an office and a chair big enough to fit all the junk in that trunk.
