They don't need to be delicate and tender, and don't pretend that they need to be either. It's the kind of relationship with bruised lips, scuffed knees, teasing words said with an equally teasing smirk, easy laughter, and nothing left hanging between them. It's easy. They both completely love Kieren, and would do anything for him, and through that have found each other, and that suits them just fine.
