"Leap of Faith" Risem

Visiting world after world on his quest to get back Sora, searching for a place he’s seen only once upon a dream, Riku finds himself in the home world of young Spiderman, Miles Morales. Together they battle Heartless and discuss sense of self and balance of light and darkness.
During a battle with a villain that Miles claims is from another universe, Riku has the misfortune of being dropped mid web swing and begins to plummet to the ground, but he is caught in the arms of another familiar looking villain, stepping out of another portal.
This Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, with slightly different hair and clothes, helps Riku and Miles defeat their enemy, and then Riku confronts him about who he is and how he’s still alive, wondering if he’s key to restoring Sora.
Blinking, baffled, and still dusting himself off from battle, the man replies, “I taught you to control Darkness. I helped you and your rag tag little friends in the battle against Xehanort, I—” he shakes his head in disbelief, “I’m Ansem—your boyfriend.”
When Ansem learns where he is and offers to help Riku on his quest to get back Sora, Riku has precious little time to decide if he can trust this affectionate, alternate version of his former enemy before being in the wrong universe glitches Ansem out of existence.
