I started this blanket back in May, and finally finished it this evening. I'm so proud of it - the waves look perfect. Final measurements are 46" x 66".

31/81: finally finished this blanket for my son!
Caron Simply Soft in Dark Country Blue, Country Blue, and Light Country Blue. H/8 hook. It’s 82” x 52”.
I started back up on my 2017 temperature blanket last night!! I am determined to not let this project get forgotten about or left as a WIP.
This is technically the 2nd half of 2017. I have 2 blankets going; one for each half of the year. This one started in July and will go thru Dec; I'm currently halfway thru Sept.
The blanket is actually 2x wide as it looks in the pic; I have it currently folded in half to make it easier to move around. I planned for both blankets to be big enough for a queen size bed.
Each row represents the high temp for that day. I chose a blue to green color scheme for my temp blankets; dark blue (coldest) - light blue - teal/aqua - light green - dark green (hottest). Each color represents 10 degrees of temp so the dark green I'm currently using represents temps 80-89 degrees (Fahrenheit).
I'll post a pic of all the colors I've chosen for each temp range sometime. The pattern I'm using is a Ripple pattern; I didn't want to worry about counting stitches and this pattern makes it much easier and is really pretty!!
Ahhhhhhhh look at all those hooky ripplesome ripples, aren't they glorious? I love crocheting this pattern, its relatively simple, rhythmic
