#ripper crew

We get so interested in murders and serial killers but there’s one group that nobody seems to remember. In 1981-82, the Ripper Crew (Wikipedia link - seriously disturbing read) was responsible for the deaths of at least 18 women and their calling cards included Satanism, amputation, cannibalism, necrophilia, and worse. I really think they aren’t talked about much because the shit they did just sounds completely unbelievable.  I forget about them for years at a time but they occasionally come up, partially because they sometimes used a hotel that is less than 3 miles from where I grew up. They were all caught, one was executed by the state (the last execution ever carried out in Illinois) but FUN FACT: one was just released and is trying to find a place to live in my town.
