You were suppose to answer my random ass text. You weren't suppose to be gone you were suppose to be there. I've been here. And you aren't around when I call your name I don't hear a sound. Is there even a place after this place can you see that I cry to you. Can you see that I miss you. Did you see all the text I sent you. The Facebook messages did you see me that day as we all cried and we saw your mother so strong. The day I never saw you again. I couldn't stand seeing you that way. Your body just laying there it wasn't you and I keep that I almost fell apart as I saw you my knees weak. I almost didn't go. After the way things ended I let my pride get the best of me 2 years since you left this place 3 years since I've seen your face. Some days it haunts me. As I sleep in my bed. Sometimes I wake up in years because I'll never see you again. I never had time to feel your lost. I didn't wanna mourn you I didn't wanna think about it. You were taken away from me way too soon. You were suppose to teach them all their lessons you were suppose to be my shoulder. When I wanted to cry you were suppose to be there. I still remember the sound of your laugh and your smile. How could I forget. I look at pictures and my heart tears just a little bit. I never could love whole after you left cause when you died a piece of me left. I never got to tell you how sorry I am. I never got to say, how happy you made me. How your stupid ass text made me laugh. How you randomly remembered me. How you would always call at the right time. How stupid our fights were. How much you meant to me. I never got to tell you and I never really showed it. Why did you leave me? Why couldn't you be here and see me? Laugh at everything I am, laugh because of all my nevers that happened. Like how I said I'm never left because I leave before. And you swore to me one day I'd wanna fight and ill see what it's like. How you said you'd always fight for me. How none of the people I dated matter. Because I was already your wife. How I was always gonna be a part of your life. How yes you loved the girls you dated, and you were in love with them all just like I told you I loved those people too. But you told me that it's okay because me and you were gonna get hitched one day. Why did you leave me? Why? Why did you go so soon? Lately I've been crying and it's all because of you. I called your phone the other day 3 years to late. Disconnected I didn't expect different. You were my soulmate. My best friend. My confident. My person. I let my pride get in the way.
