I know our timelines have been swamped with #ChadwickBoseman but this collection of videos I’ve found needed to be shared. You may have already seen them floating around, maybe not but these are great examples why #BlackPanther was more than just one of those movies in an epic series. It was representation we desperately needed, it was proof that we could be heroes too, it was history, a movement with a leader we could look up to and never forget. It breaks my heart to know that he suffered in silence and holding his sickness close to him turned into gossip and jokes when people noticed the change it made to him physically. The world is cruel but unfortunately our biggest heroes aren’t immune to that, they actually deal with it more than we may ever will. Chadwick was more than an actor just doing his job, he was an inspiration and a role model for the young and even the old to look up to. Him passing so young and being so sick hurts to think about. It hurts more to know that he was surrounded by others with the same condition and no one knew because he focused on them solely. But watching these videos turned my tears into happy ones because he knew how much he was loved, admired and appreciated. He got his flowers while he was here. I hope he is finally at peace and I wish the same for his family and friends. #RIPChadwick. #WakandaForever. 🙅🏻♀️🏴🕊🖤😿😩 https://www.instagram.com/p/CEkj-t7lUt8/?igshid=oyyutp2o4lc2
