*Carefully reaches in and gently picks Worm up* Worrrm? *Gently strokes him, and notices that he feels cold and stiff* No...

*Slowly begins to realize that Worm is no longer with us, and begins to cry* Worrrrrm! *Lets out an anguished yowl and begins sobbing* NOOOOO!

("Zimmy! What happened!?" my Dib yells, responding to my cries.)

*Between sobs* Worrrrm's goooone! *Continues sobbing*

("Zimmy, I'm so sorry, buddy. Worm might've been older when you got him. I noticed that he had been slowing down over the last few days, but I was afraid to tell you because I'd thought you'd be upset. There would've been nothing either of us could've done to stop this, no matter what we would've done. Either way, you made the last few months of his life meaningful. That hamster loved you, and you loved him back ", my Dib says, putting his hand on my shoulder.)

*Sniffles* You're right. *Proceeds to get a small box and take Worm outside, silently placing him in and closing the lid* Bye-bye, Worm...I love you...*Puts the box into the small hole that was dug, then buries the box while still crying*

(Dib places a marked stone with Worm's name and picture onto the grave, then hugs me.)
