Frederick, what were your first thoughts when you saw Ike’s Great Aether for the first time?
“Frankly, good visitor, I was impressed by how long the Radiant Hero managed to stay aloft. Ours is a world where winged-horses fly through the skies by galloping on magical gusts, only using their wings to help steer themselves through the heavens, but most everything else here is bound by the laws of gravity. That includes people... or at least it should.”
“Perhaps the blue flames of Ike’s Great Aether are traces of the power bestowed upon him by the Chaos Goddess. Having gotten to know her myself in Askr, it is plain that Yune cares little for rules of any kind. She took the form of a small child, but has never once taken a step with those tiny legs of hers... instead, floating about the premises like some kind of sassy, little phantom.”
“...More to the point, I saw Ike’s Great Aether attack as a majestic display of brutality, skill, and strength. Fitting for the Radiant Hero, and... Do you sense that, good visitor? It’s as if my life is in terrible danger. Oh, but that’s nonsense. I am a knight in full plate armour, answering a question posed to me from the comfort of my own offices. What could possibly threaten me?”
