My dear cranky old man cat Dobby, aka Bubs, is no longer with us. When we rescued him I was 10 and he was at least a year old and I'm 28 now -- he's been a cranky old man the entire time. He used to let people use him as a pillow and he would purr the whole time (and also eat your hair). The last month or so things have been really rough. He's been scarily skinny and could only eat wet food. Yesterday he came upstairs and screamed until I pet him for a few minutes; and I think he was saying good bye. I'm gonna miss him so much. He was a very mouthy cat and the house is gonna be so quiet now....
I don't have access to a lot of my photos as they were printed out so they're in albums and not on my phone but here's some of the pictures of him I do have (these are all from within the past like 5 or 6 years- I wish I had pics from when he was younger):
I'm too sickly to handle a long car ride at the moment so my mom is at the vets without me. We are so lucky to live near a place that specializes in pet funerals. When mom gets home I'll see if she has some more pictures.
