“Would you like to tell me how did you manage to fail the mission, miss Iinabe? What was going into your head?! The target was right in front of you and you let her slip away as if you weren’t paying attention to her!” A troll yelled. Rinous’ boss, to be exact, who is yelling at her. She’s a hitman and her job is to eliminate targets whenever she’s given an assignment to earn some money. Though the situation she was in to take out her target had her think twice. “I understand. I let them get away. It’s my fault.”
She sighs, putting one leg over the other as she crossed her arms and looked down at the ground. “Of course it’s your fault! You let them get away! You were supposed to fucking kill her! Kill! HER! Are those words not clear enough for you?!” She winced from hearing him. She said it once and she will always say it again: she hates men with a burning passion. “You wouldn’t understand. You all will never understand.” She said, glaring up at him.
“Oh I understand completely. Fucking forget about your past and look to the future. She’s dead! Stop thinking that-”
“NO! Fuck you! You don’t know nothing! I loved her!” She yelled back, standing up and walking in front of him as he began to back up, knowing he striked a nerve on her. “They fucking used me! They raped me and they killed her long before I even knew! What do you know? You never lost someone so fucking dear to you and I’m trying to rebuild my fucking life, but I can’t because of you fuck heads! I met someone I liked and I can’t spend time with because of this stupid shit!” By the time she finished talking, she was holding him by the collar of his shirt, her eyes burning with anger until she finally calmed herself down. She let go of him, turning away and crossed her arms.
“You see? There’s your problem. You’re letting your emotions getting in the way. You have two options, Iinabe. Either you pick out the person you care about... pick out focusing on your job that you have invested on. Think about it.” Silence spread the room. The only sounds that were audible was her breathing and the sounds of her boss’s footsteps, walking out of the room. She screamed, kicking the chair and knocking the table over and punched a nearby mirror. She panted once she was done, looking over at her hand. It is bleeding due to the punch on the mirror. Shaking her head, she only frowned and walked out of the room to walk back to her home. Hopefully to forget about what happened today.
