what is your favorite trope to rp?
oh, god there are so many it’s hard to choose but i’ll always be absolutely trash for what i like to call the ‘beauty/beast trope’ i’m sure it has a real trope name but the dynamic of a softer muse breaking down the walls of the other who is gruffer. especially if the ‘beast’ muse started off being antagonistic towards them. it’s like a drug to me
what old character would you love to bring back?
i will always miss writing illyana rasputina. she’s one of those i think about often but i just don’t think i’d ever have the drive to rp her again.
do you prefer long or short replies and why?
it all depends on the mood and subject matter but typically i prefer longer ones. i like being able to put in a lot of information about how my muse is thinking and feeling about the situation/characters around them. in return i like getting to read the same from my partners! i find longer replies give more space for some prose and laying out the characters’ mindsets.
are there any red roleplay flags for you that make you back off immediately?
hmm i think in character if someone tends to respond to memes or reply to threads in a way that backs my muse into a corner or assumes them to be in a situation that is OOC i get weird vibes. sometimes i’ve noticed people can use rp as a sort of power play? for example there was someone who genuinely turned out to be pretty horrible to people outside of rp and one of the things they did when writing was sort of control the situation? i.e. i send a meme where it would be implied our muses are in the middle of a conversation but they respond so that my muse just randomly walked up to theirs and said something super personal out of the blue for no reason. once i noticed that i realized how much aggression they took out on people’s muses without any plotting or it being called for etc. just weird projecting behavior.

words are difficult on days like this. even signing feels tedious and inadequate. she becomes lost within her mind; finding her way back out is no easy task. but it is somehow made simpler when he’s near. there is this indescribable pull towards him, something magnetic which commands her attention on even her most turbulent of days. and it draws her to shangqi now. seating herself beside him, magnolia takes his hand to lift his arm so she can scoot in closer. she doesn’t always know how to ask for help ( isn’t sure if it’s something she is capable of anymore ). but she can do this. her head comes to rest against his chest and shoulder, releasing her grasp of his hand so her arm can wind around his torso.
the warmth he gives off is immediately soothing. it feels as if she can breathe without so much weight on her chest. and she does, releasing a slow exhale, a nearly contented sigh. there is so much uncertainty about far too many things in her life. but lately, she’s found he is one of the only things that make sense. he feels solid. like maybe, she might able to let herself trust he won’t go away one day too. the thought makes her arm tighten a little and she curls into him more. maybe she can let herself feel safe. just for today.
