I went to a restaurant to order some food for take-away to bring to my partner’s work and have lunch together, and I ordered everything speaking german :)
which ordering things is easy, but here in Austria everyone speaks english so well and it’s tourist season so it’s very easy to just speak english. but i’m pushing myself to speak as much german as i can :) also in the coffee shop i’m working in, everyday i feel more confident to speak german to the customers
i think i’m going to learn the language very fast living here, but tbh since i started working it’s been hard to find the motivation to study as much as i was studying before. yesterday i didn’t even finish my anki flashcards before giving up 😭
