She was seeing things, right? No, she knew better, knowing Selena was here but...She was frozen in place, lips pressed into a thin line. She just wanted to get some groceries so she could make something for dinner she hadn’t had in a while, and she was sure her partner would probably appreciate it. It was a taste of her home, after all.
Still, running into him of all people in on the street! Even worse, it was too late for her to turn around and run before he noticed because she’d already made a sound. She’d definitely said “GEH!” the moment she even caught sight of him, now she was just left standing there, unsure if she should bolt for it or try to pretend nothing had happened.
Could she get away with pretending she didn’t recognize him? No, it was definitely too late for that, but she didn’t think things like this through. It was honestly something of a miracle she’d even made it this far.
“N-nuffs....Knife...Nice weather we’re having,” she sputtered, stumbling over her words in an effort to appear casual and not at all bothered.

Such things had become a normalcy nowadays, where as in the past she would have been flustered and uncomfortable, she now found herself quite content and relaxed with the water up to her abdomen and seated between his thighs. Hair curled haphazardly in a bun and stuck up with a Bobby pin, she leans herself back against him with a small wiggle to adjust herself.
It was a comfortable silence, and one that she had no problem sinking into. However, the flickering movement out of the corner of her eye gets her attention . . And soon she’s sitting up again to lean over the side of the tub and trace her fingers along the carapace of his tail which hung out of the water due to it’s size.
Grabbing it carefully, she pulls it into the tub and cautiously (so as to avoid the spikes,) wraps it about herself to place part of it in her lap. She didn’t know if he could feel much on this part of it but she was gentle when she picked up a loofa and began to wash it, anyways.

Her noses scrunches in a show of slight disgust at this, though after a moment she shakes her head and gives a sigh.
“Give them to me after class. If you won’t wash them, I will.” It wasn’t like she hadn’t done this sort of thing for him before, though she hadn’t thought he’d let things get that bad on his own.

Oh? So he’d noticed, had he? Smiling proudly, the twin-tailed girl gives an obviously pleased nod, arms crossing over her chest as she puffs it out.
“Yup! All by myself! Try some. Tell me what you think! I worked really hard on it . . So it should taste pretty good.”
