i dont actually hate riffgenta as much as i pretend to. i think it had the potential to be an actually interesting plot point regarding how abuse can make you want control over other people, even in ways that could be morally wrong, if richard had written it that way, but since he didn't it doesnt interest me. I dont care if people like it, not for me, I just think it could've been handled better
playing a bit of richard’s advocate the whole movie is crazy and nonsensical itd be out of place for it to suddenly snap to be solemn and serious like that. Maybe it could be done idk. But i can understand the interest in a riffgenta plotline handled seriously
