To start, any sort of dedicated relationship is out the window; Hecate is aromantic, and, while not really disgusted or anything by the idea of a romantic relationship, just doesn't think it's worth her energy to try to make something work that's basically only for the other person's gain. Ramona wouldn't really care (as long as she likes somebody, she doesn't really care about stuff like that, she gets people have their own things going on), but... deep down, she can get pretty sappy and romantic. Having a partner that didn't reciprocate that, even for something brief, probably wouldn't be the best for her. Even though she might let it happen.

They'll usually listen to her talk about it, or appreciate her collection, but Dahlia's the only one that really cares about it. Something about it being a lifelong passion, some sort of ties to her Charge, and it being an expression of worship to the Gladekeeper- it's alot to her, but to others it's kind of just the only foliage on board, and something that Dahlia truly loves. So, they're happy to engage with it, but don't necessarily share the hobby, or fully share her enthusiasm. But, Dahlia does it for herself, and that's enough for her.

Pros of dating her:

- honestly there's no better pirate to date than the one who isn't really risking their life anymore, but is still charismatic and a little rich. like, she's set, and you can be too

- she's a compliment machine honestly. keeps 'em coming like there's no tomorrow

- might be a flirt but she's a flirt with a PURPOSE. she's in for the long haul if it feels right

- wanna read in bed with the light on or something? nbd. she literally can't tell if you're doing that

Cons of dating her:

- yes, you must earn the little manticore's favor. if it does not like you, then Karkoff does not like you. simple as that

- lots of folks on the ship, so privacy might be better reserved for elsewhere

- listen if your lip gets cut on her fangs while kissin' that's not on her. just consider it a perk. a memento, even

[Kiril: She doesn't bother me... Which is kind of the most you can hope for out here, really. But I don't regard Dr. Cass as much more than a coworker. She's not exactly someone I want to get all buddy-buddy with- beyond normal work reasons, I mean. I try to stay in my lane, but she doesn't seem to know the meaning. She's gotten too comfortable, I think... So Maneater's got her wrapped around a claw. Dr. Cass would bend over backwards for her. Or, uh... No, no, I'm just going to leave it there.]
