i am 27 today at 3pm est. i am having an iced matcha and it is 11 fahrenheit out. my necklace is a little charm locket shaped like a book of fahrenheit 451. i have 6 jstor tabs open and 1 youtube video that i've been gnawing on for 4 days. i woke up to 10 birthday messages and i am very loved. i dyed my hair black two months ago and now it has faded to a nice dark brown that is a bit warmer than my natural color but close enough that my roots are blending nicely. i'm picking up my copy of vigil by george saunders at a local bookstore today and critics are saying it's not good so i'm prepared to keep him humble. my very good friend mailed me a hematite bracelet with saints on it and i love it so much even though i was raised protestant and don't know any of these guys. i'm about to be 27! at one point i was 3 years old. consider this a diary entry. it's noon
