speaking as someone who had a lot of deep rooted childhood trauma that also gave me a lot of insecurities and self confidence issues, i can say that these arent something youll always have to be stuck with.healing is slow, and sometimes painful, but one day youll wake up and realize things arent as bad as they used to be. that day comes for all of us, and youll have that day too. for now, you have people willing to support you as much as they can đ ur doing great so far, and we love you and fal
anonymous asked:Itâs ok to feel insecure sometimes. Itâs not okay to punish yourself for your feelings, though. I think itâs important that we each learn to be our own best friend. Would you tell a good friend theyâre being whiny? Instead, would you tell them that itâs ok if theyâre feeling low and encourage them to grow? The moment you learn to forgive yourself is the moment you can start to seek a path for positive growth as opposed to getting caught in a destructive cycle. <3 Take care.
rickmoony asked:Sorry to bug you again. I donât think you need to be told to grow a spine or anything of the sort. I think you just need to evaluate what it is that you want and see what steps there are to achieve them? Itâs a thought at the least. My partners help me a lot with my low points, which come quite frequently. Itâs good to have a healthy network of people to remind you that you arenât shit and that youâre worth the efforts needed to live a happy life. I hope you find them. Please take care.
I used to be in a worse place and I have slowly made some positive changes, so itâs not like Iâm in square one right now⊠I keep trying to change my attitude but itâs difficult and unrewarding. It requires a certain amount of strength, and I am weak. It requires being able to console yourself when youâre feeling bad, and telling yourself that you donât suck, and then believing in that, which I donât know how to do. Growth takes work and effort, which are my two worst enemies. And yes, I do realize that makes me the worst kind of human. And yes I do know that saying what I just said is counterproductive. I just donât want anyone to think Iâm not self-aware of how lazy I am and how bad that is.
