that feeling when you feel your boyfriends stomach gurgle and he burps afterward

this guy at my local ice cream shop recognizes me every time i come in. today was such a dreary day, horrible traffic, and there was no one in the shop. as soon as i came in he said “let me guess, small chocolate shake?” cause i always order the same thing, and he’s done that more than once. he always compliments me on my shirts. today he said he put “a little extra in” so he “put it in a bigger cup.” this just shows that whenever i start to feel that sadness creeping in, i am reminded that humanity is such a gift because people can be so awesome and make you feel so loved and so important.

whenever i get sensory overload i just remind myself of the theory that we’re not sure if an external world or our bodies even exist and it goes away
