There was justsomething about it. He was involved in it, entranced by it.

You didn’t peg RickSanchez to be a man with a soft spot for literature but yet here he was as hesat the table, eating with his mouth open while talking about “TheDangerous Tales of To'rek” and how ahead of its time it was. Although itwas really gross to see the mush that used to be roast beef in his mouth, itwas still a little charming how he just continued on and on about this book.

You definitely have an… interesting taste in men.

The gist of it wasthat To'rek had run away from his war torn country and shit hits the fan fromthere. Something about a jewel and a whore house and … so many sub plots.

“‘I’ll have toread it someday, Rick.” I smiled, making my way to the kitchen with myempty plate. Rick was close behind.

“You can-ca-won’tbe able to. It’s wriuRP-itten in Garblovian.”

Both of our platesmade a splash into the sink. I grabbed the sponge and began to wash.

“Could you readit to me?” I asked. It was like I could hear his groaning before it evenescaped his lips.

“I don’t ha-have-I’m busy.” He was able to finish the sentence before burping this time.  Placing our plates on the drying rack, the imaginarybulb above my head lit up like the sun. I walked over to him slowly, placingtwo fingers in his belt loop and pulling him close.

“Y'know, I bet ifI was on my knees you would have some time.”

“I-I’ve got a coURP-pyin the garage.”
