A bounty hunter turned biker. In his life before riding with the Billiard Bikers, Richard was a bounty hunter of sorts. A friend of his had gone missing in his hometown. With everyone he turned to for answers quietly whispering indirect clues and sending him to chase hopeless circles, Richard had decided to look for answers himself. He found that his size and his solid stature made it easy for towering over another person whenever their memory seemed to give them trouble. Of course when they still wouldn't answer or tried to run the opposite direction, his size also helped in thrashing these people back under an interrogation light.

Richard looked for his brother for months before finding him in a bizarre warehouse owned by a strange fabrications company. His brother looked despondent and unresponsive to Richard finding him, but alive. Richard was happy during this lengthy period of despair. Richard carried him out from the warehouse, picturing the great reunion he would have with his family and his brother. After the celebrations and the get well wishes, Richard was approached by a mysterious man. Someone who needed help finding a man. He didn't leave many details about the other man's history, only that the man he was searching for moved just as he was about to close in on him. Traces ran dry, people who had ran into them have hazy recollections of them passing through.

Apprehensive about leaving his brother and family behind, Richard decided to go. He managed to find the man, but found him within the Billiard Bikers; a group of runaways always trailing along the road, never at home at one place for long. It was ironic that man Richard was meant to find was the founder of the Billiards, the Cueball. To say Richard was welcomed with open arms wouldn't technically be lying. Just because their hands held knives, guns, and broken pool sticks; it didn't mean they weren't open. The Billiard Bikers didn't like strangers knowing who they were or where they had been. Cueball thought it safer to bring Richard into their ranks. Half joking and half drunk in suggesting Richard find them a place no one could go after them.

No one thought it would have been possible, but Richard did find a place for them, a town by the name of Unfinished. The bikers rode in, bewildered and at times confused, but it would do. The town seemed quiet enough and the people weren't nothing to complain about. Richard supposes its how he managed to score one of the Jeffersons. He likes to say he was looking for a compatible road partner and he has found it with Avery.
