Can’t believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from the spring! While it isn’t too late, I decided to share with you pics reflecting the mood that I had during this winter season. So, here are some of my winter drawings and photos of my lovely pup Toto ^__^

Here are some of miraculously saved photos from a film, which we found soaking wet when came back from our honeymoon trip (my grandpa decided to water our ficus Benjamina way too abundantly). It was quite sad to loose most of shots from this film cause it was the very last one we used in OR, USA, and I was eager to have a look at pictures capturing our last months of living in Portland.
So, these photos are from a weekend spent in Seaside, Oregon coast, and from our trip to Vance Creek Bridge, WA.
Here are some photo memories from our astounding trip to Crater Lake (OR, USA). Even though it was way too chilly, and my hubby got a cold, we were so happy to make it out there! That 2-days journey certainly was worth that! Oregon landscapes are marvellously gorgeous! The closer we were getting to Crater Lake National Park, the colder it was... just as if we were entering a land of winter fairy-tale ^__^
Crater Lake is that famous because of its unique nature. It is a caldera lake, which is pretty awesome. Besides, the lake is the deepest in the US, and the 7th/9th deepest in the world, depending on whether average or maximum depth is evaluated. There are two islands in Crater Lake, the bigger one is clearly seen on two of my pics. This island called Wizard Island is formed from a cinder cone that erupted after Crater Lake began to fill with water. The smaller island is called Phantom Ship.

I saw a pineapple in my dream and decided to draw it ^__^ Usually, I prefer to create more complicated surreal pictures, so it was pretty hard to stop drawing once I finished with the pineapple. Some of iPhone photos I took while rediscovering such a glorious beauty of Sochi and Rosa Khutor (Russia), which I visited with my hubby this summer. When I was a kid, I used to go to that region with my parents for our summer vacay every year. Hadn’t been there for about 15 years, and it was incredibly amazing to come back to a place, which reminds me bout so many great moments, with the love of my life! ^__^
Cozy Fall is my very first autumn-inspired pic ^__^ I chose my fave symbols of autumn so that to draw an image which could reflect my personal perception of this season of the year. Warm bright background was created in order to highlight cosiness and that very special calm amber color of sunlight, which is getting colder and colder as autumn is being replaced by winter.
